I'm not one to read big into tweets but I am about 98% sure they are both Buckeyes now.
Silent verbals I would say, what do you guys think?
Tonight ;)

Till next time* Columbus :(

I'll be honest, first time I saw those tweets I thought they were hinting at a very memorable night out, and a very painful morning, but upon further analysis I concur.
what i'm curious about is Anzalone's tweet to both of them saying "quit cryin'!"
“The teams that don’t respect their coaches and don’t trust their coaches are the teams that go .500"
~Zach Boren
Or talking about the parties they were at last night? I think Bosa may be in, I'm not so sure about Heuerman.
I think Bosa was hinting like something would happen last night with the "Tonight ;)" tweet, but then this morning he tweeted "last night..." like what was supposed to happen didn't...and I took Heuermans tweet "This morning" just as a joke because Bosa kept tweeting about what time of the day it was without being specific about anything.
I don't think there are anything hidden messages involved
"Love my State, hate the football"
Bosa and Heuerman hope UFM will continue Tressel's openness to alternative lifestyles.
As a gay man, I have to say it sounds like those two boys got it on!
I think they may have just gotten wasted and had been hungover. Alas, this is a college kid's idea of what that means.
As a hetero--wait, why did I need to tell you guys that?
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.
I think they're both Buckeyes. It's just a matter of when it comes out. Why would they keep it silent on a huge weekend, though? Just because they've set announcement dates, you think?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
@Hail, definitely Heuerman just wants to wait till friday since the dates been set already and plans made, Bosa I'm not sure if he still wants to wait till his birthday or not.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Sigh. What have we all come to, reading so much into and analyzing 16 and 17 year olds' internet messages :/
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
It's called following recruiting in the modern age.
On another note, I was pretty damn happy with this picture of Urban. I was standing next to Frank E's dad on the sideline. I fake-HDR and desaturated it, it turned out awesome. To my left was Anzalone, Heuerman, and Bosa. Huge dudes.
Doesn't make it any less weird...
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
If you don't like it, don't read the threads dealing with it. It's not weird, there's a reason Pantoni follows a ton of recruits, it's the business now.
Recruitbuck, Nice pic. I think Urban enjoyed his first Shoe experience as a head coach. Curious though, how did you get to be on the sideline for the game?
Well when I click on a thread titled "Joey Bosa & Mike Heuerman" how am I supposed to know if its going to be legitimate news on their recruitment or something "different" (we'll use a nice word) like this? And Pantoni gets paid to recruit players, and gets to know them personally. His livelihood depends on it and he has a relationship with them, so don't compare fans and coaches like that.
Maybe if we didn't obsess over these players from such a young age they wouldn't go awry as often as they do (I'm looking at you, Pryor.)
Ugh. I've already said too much.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
You talk about obsessing over these young guys but whether or not you are on this site and this thread or on twitter you are still trying to get information about these guys. So what are you talking about?
Well we're all pretty damn weird (me as much as anybody) for putting so much emotion and passion towards 18-22 year olds, but when you follow around these 14-17 year olds (when its not your job to) it takes it to another level, in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the recruting process as it is, but I check in from time to time during crucial recruting periods (spring game, NSD) to see how we're doing. I'm not saying everybody should do as I do, because that's just a matter of taste. I would suggest that we remember how old these players are, though.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
@Tenn,
Block "O". There wasn't much to photograph once the game started since a lot of adults sat in the south block so they couldn't do cheers [although they did get stadium OHIO up and running without the south block megaphone speakers].
I mostly am just there to photograph us, but while people were filing in I got some good shots off.
@Jake
Then I'd highly recommend not visiting the forums, if you think it's weird. It's what we do. Recruiting is one of the many joys to follow with OSU.
They're in my age group, so I don't find it creepy at all. Who cares if it's not our job? It's not your job to tell us that our interests are weird.
If you don't like it, don't read it.
I'm with @JakeBuckeye on this one.
Okay, well I'm not going to stop, and most other people aren't either.
If you don't like it, don't read it. It's not up to you guys to criticise other fans' behavior.
What exactly does you siding with him do? If you want to complain about the overanalyzing of Twitter, that's great, but make your own thread- don't threadjack this one.
Hoping everyone exhales before hitting "Save" from here on out.
Come on fellas, so much tension here lately. We're all on the same side
Let me put it this way:
If I didn't follow Maurice Hurst Jr on Twitter, I would not have known early that Anzalone had officially committed to OSU. That's valid news from a pretty valid source.
There's no tension until users start criticising other users. I just don't see the point in posting about it, it fixes nothing.
Like I said, how am I supposed to click on something titled "Joey Bosa & Mike Heuerman" and know if its going to be real news or something like this? From here on out when I see similar threads I will try and bite my tongue, but that's harder than you'd think.
They're pretty much as old as I am as well, for the record...
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
Look for gray boxes on the home screen?
Interpreting cryptic tweets = reading tea leaves?
Pretty much...
Seriously. Some guys love recruiting and are super into it and some aren't. If you swung by a [pick anything -- muscle cars, for instance] forum and told people that you thought they were being weird by obsessing over their interest, you'd get the same response.
It may be weird. It may not be. To each, their own.
Personally I don't do this anddon't really have a problem with those who find the need to Twitter stalk 16-18 year recruits to find so-called " crucial information" but I do get really tired of the analyzing and over thinking of what these guys Tweet every hour. It is pretty nutty to think that every comment they make is somehow connected to or secret code for where they are going to play football. You can do what you like with your time but I think it is pretty sad. I figure when they sign on the dotted line then we know where they are playing.
If I want all of these tweets from possible commits, I'll follow them on twitter for myself. When I click a thread like "Joey Bosa and Mike Heuerman" I expected something of substance or an opinion or something. This might be the 3rd or 4th thread started to purely copy/paste tweets. That's fine if that's your thing, I personally find it a little weird that people, especially over the age of 25, are "following" dozens of 16 and 17 year old football players hanging on their every tweet and trying to analyze every word as to where they'll go to college. Bottom line, all that matters is where the sign in February. Until then, I could care less about their tweets because reading "Tonight" doesn't get me to February faster. Sorry, just my take. It's my last one on that subject. I don't mean to offend anyone because I know everyone wants these guys to be Buckeyes, but we're literally dissecting every tweet. If they verbally commit, then cool. Until then, I'm not going into over-drive about some tweets.
Well, having an interest in muscle cars is a little different than having an interest in 14-17 year old kids. I'm not sure why anyone would say its weird to have an interest in muscle cars.
Regardless, you da bousss.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
Hahaha, no, it's an interest in Ohio State football, there's a difference (insert Penn State joke here).
That's essentially my issue with it, but point A (following or "stalking" as you put it, these players) leads to point B (over-analyzing every word, thought, deed.) So I tend to take issue with both. I will try to make this my last comment on the matter.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
I'd like to see you tell Alex that following kids on Twitter is stalking.
Okay stop, kbye.
Everybody has a different level of interest in the recruiting game, I personally enjoy it and if analyzing tweets and such makes someone happy then so be it. It doesn't bother me any. I for myself try not to analyze too much into tweets, I simply wanted to ask peoples thoughts on them, not try and start a heated discussion about it. What's really sad is that this thread has been jacked by things that don't even need to be said. Let people enjoy the ride until NSD, and if you don't have a high level of interest in recruiting as others, please try not to criticize people because of it. In the end, we are all Buckeyes, seeing these arguments and calling people out because of something silly is kinda rediculous. It would be in peoples best interest to keep the comments to themselves unless it's about Bosa and Heuerman, that was what this thread was created for, not for bashing people because they follow kids on twitter and so on and so forth.
Now.. Back to Joey & Mike
An interest in Ohio State football, by means of an interest in 14-17 year old kids...
There I go breaking my own promises about my last comment being my final comment on the matter.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
Whatever you say.
Genestar: I was going to stay out of this, after getting bloodied myself last week, but your last comment (at 10:38 pm) needs clarification. Plus, let me say up front, I appreciate your contributions to this site.
Jake does have a point, though: you have to click on the link and read "Bosa and Heurman" before you can figure out whether it's semi-"hard" news or cryptic twitter speculations. That I follow such links in the first place shows that I'm not at all immune from obsessing over the life choices of 17 year olds and it's not my style to morally grandstand, anyway.
But it is not "threadjacking" to suggest that a poster/commenter has made an empty/flawed post/comment. Obviously, that's a matter of opinion and I'm not saying it's the case here. Maybe the Bosa tweets really are sending important clues, or something.
That said, some of us "will get back to Joey and Mike" when you actually give us something substantive on Joey and Mike. Until then, your post - as constructed - mostly prompted a discussion on the value of interpreting crypic tweets. Rather than blame others for not staying on message, maybe have a more compelling message to start with?
But the only reason I checkout 11warriors everyday is to read the numerous and pointless arguements between Buckeye fans. I didn't intend to call anyone out but I do get a chuckle from those daily posts disecting Tweets. I will try harder to get along with my fellow Buckeye sports junkies.
You guys are really making a huge deal out of nothing, I only wanted peoples opinions, not people to freak out about Twitter. Should we just go Urban Meyer on the forum and ban Twitter?
If you want solid news, look for boxes on the front page.
Gene just wants to get back on subject.
Forums were made for everyone to post whatever they want, at least that's how I felt. Like RecruitBuck said, if you want the solid news, check the front page, Alex's forum posts, or my Daily Bits posts. Other than that, it's pretty much open discussion.
Ok. I read the JB tweets and have followed his recruitment. It does not take an idiot to deduce that JB is all Buckeye. He has all but come out and said that "I will be announcing I'm a Buckeye, just not right now". And elsewhere he has stated that he wants to commit before his senior year, and more specifically on his birthday (I believe in July). Everyone relax..........too much smoke here.
That's a big ass chill pill haha
These internal "side" debates are healthy IMO - no need for chill pills - but rereading my comment, I was a bit harsh on Gene, who contributes some very useful recruiting tidbits to this site. Also, my comment wasn't very precise, itself.
It's not that we expect all recruiting items to be fully-sourced, confirmed "gray box" news. Alex frequently reports on inside chatter he's hearing and Alex has an excellent batting average. Other types of rumors maybe aren't as consistently reliable, but under certain circumstances, can be important/telling. Intepreting cyrptic tweets is probably the least reliable. If there's 4-5 levels of recruiting news - based on general reliability - the random twitter chatter has to be at the bottom, right?
Ok, I'm confused...... If your diehard Buckeye fan follows recruiting via twitter or follows a few recruits and reads about their visit it is "creepy". BUT if you work for a recruiting network or website it's not "creepy" cause you get paid to do it?? SMH!!
Alex keep up the good work!
I would agree with you on that Fido, like I said in my post, I don't look into Tweets all that too often, just wanted people's opinions on it was all.
There you go :)
If you don't want to analyze tweets and you click into a thread and you see that it's about twitter, why wouldn't you just exit the thread instead of reading the other comments (the ones after the re-tweets) and writing a long post about why analyzing tweets from recruits is stupid? And we need to remember guys, TSUN is the enemy, too much friendly fire going on here over the past couple of weeks. Only 7 months until we break our losing "streak" to flounder and the rest of those scUMmers.
I could care less if Heuerman signs with OSU or not. We have a BFS version of him already in his brother, and his brother has done very little to get me excited. JMO.
Genestar - haha! Stay thirsty for the recruiting news, my friend - the 11W community is richer for it, even when guys like Jake and I - who never saw a debate we didn't want to jump into - are overanalyzing your occasional overanalyses.
And, to be fair, I've spent some time myself trying to interpret tweets that were posted, secondhand, here on 11W. It's just that I didn't get very far with them, I don't think . . .
Yeah! How are the Buckeyes going to win The Game if we don't step it up on the message boards?
Big Swede: yep, the "friendly fire" within our comment threads is like our wimpy, cyber-version of "Hoot and Holler." It's eight seconds of nastiness, but then the whistle blows, and we're all on the same team again.
Anthony Rothman just scooped everyone~Bosa to commit to OSU.
And I'll trust him, big time media lol.
Heuerman has already said he is announcing on Friday (27th), correct?
If Rothman is right, awesome news!
FWIW....... Decipher this one lol. Lewis Neal just asked his "252" fam what they think about Ohio State.
Source close to the fam for Rothman
Prob Kumerow
Trolls vs. Drama Queens..which is > ?
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.
Wow - thanks to everyone who are arguing on this thread on some genuine entertainment... seriously though there has been tons of fighting on this sight lately. Must be sports withdrawal - no football - no basketball. Now you have dudes engaged in digital fights over every little thing on here. Meanwhile Alex came by the thread & pretty much guaranteed that at least one of these kids is a Buckeye & everyone just kept on arguing. You can relax or keep fighting but its just sports...
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
I don't know man, you should decide. I mean, you're the one who could run this site better than the current staff. We could have avoided the DJ situation if you were in charge. I think its those muscles that really give you an edge.
In all seriousness, what was the point of this post? The argument was long over. But for the record, no one was a troll and no one was a drama queen in this thread.
October 20th: National Kenneth Guiton Day
While everyone is argueing can someone tell me why Dorian bell was on the sideline on saturday thanks
Hardly home but always reppin
I sure hope thes kids don't read this message board. They may get the idea Buckeye fans are a little weird and not commit...JK

If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Did someone say BOSA?
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Jake, considering you started the arguement by call tweet analyzing weird and creepy, that makes you a troll. Go away, you said a page ago it would be your last comment. I see you're a man of your word. Alex and Jason both said that wasn't the place for it. Now do like you've said.
Now stop, like you said you would.
Someone said that the muscle car example did not apply, and I think you could not be more wrong. There are different facets to a Muscle Car aficionado, Anywhere from the engine, to the look, to the sound, to the horsepower, to the torque, to the 1/4 mile time, to the 0-60 time, etc. Some may say that looks mean nothing, its about the power, but those who focus on looks are not wrong in their interest.
Same with Ohio State and recruiting. Its all about Ohio State Football. Whether its twitter, facebook, rivals, 247, 11W, Scout, bucknuts, buckeyegrove, etc, each person has their own interest for gathering information. Just because one chooses to gather info from twitter does not mean they are wrong or are 'stupid' for doing so. To each their own. Just because some don't like analyzing tweets does not mean people should say its useless. Its gives more things to talk about and builds up anticipation (sometimes false), but still good.
