They have a brutal schedule or maybe not.
Purdue, @ Michigan State, Michigan, Miami Fla, Stanford, BYU, @ Oklahoma, Pitt, @ Boston College, @ Southern Cal
Miami Fla maybe get decimated emotionally if the NCAA has any stones and rules on them
Stanford is Luckless
Pitt new coach + system
BC has acquired Walrus Ball
Michigan, Oklahoma and Southern Cal seem like losses
I don't see ND going to a BCS game this year, Brian Kelley's 3rd, so he better have a stout 4 year plan, or a good Real Estate agent.

No chance they go to a BCS game, and join the club, we all hate them
I wouldn't sleep on Stanford, even without Luck. They've been recruiting well the past 3-4 years. They have several blue-chip prospects at the QB position, although none of them are on the same level as Luck. They still have Taylor at RB, and are still loaded at tight end. Even with the loss of Decastro and Martin on the O-line they'll still have one of the best in the nation with the recruits they've brought in.
The Irish may be their typical 7-5 selves, but it's going to be nice to see Meatchicken lose 2 of their first 4 games to Alabama and Notre Dame.
I dont see Michigan losing to Notre Dame
Did you watch Notre Dame's Qbs yesterday? My starting quarterback where I coach looked better than those guys and he is a Sr. in high school. That team is still a turnover machine and their secondary is atrocious! Only thing they have going for them is that it is at home and possibly a night game.
Kelly will be fired at the end of the season.
Never know about QB's not being anywhere Luck. Pretty sure he was only a 3 star coming out of high school, thus one more example of where rankings don't matter. Stanford should be solid for the foreseeable future.
MFan, they self-destructed against you guys. They should have walked away with a 14+ point win. The turnovers in the second half weren't even the result of great defense on your part. Same thing for ND agains USF. I would be surprised if you can beat them this year.
@Corveyer, Luck was a big-time prospect coming out of Texas.

They self destructed yes, totally agree. But that continued all year and nothing has changed. They still cannot protect the ball. If we play them at the end of last year we beat them by 14.
They lose a lot as well. Floyd destroyed us last year and last I checked he is gone. Quarterbacks are still horrendous. Like I said only thing going for them is Home game and what I am hearing possibly night game.
@ RDUBS. I don't think ND will beat Michigan. But I guesss I wouldn't be surprised if ND wins either. Hoke caught some lucky breaks last year, but I still think there were some improvements to their D from the year prior. As much as it might pain me to write this, but I have a lot more respect for Hoke's coaching over Kelly's. I don't think Michigan will be consistently better than OSU with Meyer at the helm, but I think they'll be a better team than ND and most of the rest of the B10(12) conference.
Of course we will never be better than you guys, I mean you have Urban Meyer. Rockstar coach with a rockstar tan. I wonder if he has a tanning bed at home.
Probably not, but at least he can see his feet.
No reason to get mad about Urban's style just because your coach looks like he could've married Roseanne.
Finally, something OSU fans and Michigan fans can agree on. F Notre Dame and beetface.
However, I don't see how anyone can look as their schedule as anywhere close to easy. They also play Navy in Dublin, Ireland, and the Miami game is at Soldier Field. They'll be lucky if they win more than 7.
It is, in fact, a night game for Michigan @ ND (and will probably be the norm going forward every year). Denard to ND is what Troy Smith was to Michigan...just can't beat him. He has over 900 yards in total offense in the last two meetings and at least 8 TDs I can recount from memory.
Good thing is, even if we lose to Alabama and ND (and even OSU), if we win the rest, we still play for the B1G Championship and the Rose Bowl.

Yah when scUM plays Notre Shame every tOSU fan will face a moral question "who do I root for?".
^^^simple: Notre Dame
Well, this divisional crap will continue to put fans in worse situations than that going forward (and ND isn't OSU's rival in anyway, nor do you play them). OSU plays Nebraska and Michigan state...so our heads say to root for the Buckeyes when our hearts say I hope they get crushed. Next year you guys will be in a similar quandry when we play Wisconsin and PSU.

Notre Dame: Winless against Ohio State since 1936.

Ditt-o. I was there. There is simply no good way to describe how Floyd dominated play when he was on the field. He had to be accounted for every play; every defensive set was devoted to him. I think the last time I saw one player distort the defensive schemes that much was watching Antwan Randle-El. I expected the NFL to hold a special supplemental draft after the late-night end of the ND game to delcare the rights to Michael Floyd. The simple question that night was whether Michael Floyd would beat Michigan, and if so would he be selected for the Pro Bowl.
Simple. I root for ND. I am, with one exception, incapable of rooting for scUM. That was Lloyd Carr's last game - against UF. A classy way for a good man to coach his last game. (And it was against UF!)

M Man, I was there, too. Floyd is a gamechanger that's for sure. Have you watched a replay of that game (It's on BTN every other week)? Our defense was so lost in that game, it wasn't funny. We weren't even sure about personnel, at that point. This year we know Fitz is the man and Countess will play, too.
@Buckeyevet
That's the quandry I was referring to. It's gross to have to root for Michigan/OSU but when they can help you separate yourselves in the divisional race, you need them to win.

Wow, all 3 of us were there. Floyd had me worried all game, our defense was alll over the place. But that is why I said we would have beat them by 14 later in the year. Our defense was a lot better at the end.
George Atkinson is scary fast at running back and Theo Riddick could be special in the slot. Should ND decide to use Golson and unleash their offensive talent, they could be very good. That said, Tommy Rees blows.
