Very happy for the now New England Patriot! He was pick #197 despite not starting a single game at OSU (correct?). Should be a stud on special teams. He did recently run a 4.4 40 :)

Also drafted ahead of Molk from UM, Brewster from OSU. Never played HS football and walked on for football.
Did the analysts say anything about him?
I half heard them talking about him on ESPN. Two of the analysts were kind of snickering about the Patriots drafting him because they had him ranked around the 160th safety. Adam Schefter came to his defense and explained his importance to special teams and talked about Nate being a Rudgy player. He pointed out that football was not his top priority until this past year and if he didn't get drafted, he would've gone back to playing Rugby.
Oh ok thanks man.
Ebner is a great special teams guy. If any of you know who Nick Sorenson is (played at VT in college, then for the Jags and Browns), Ebner resembles him in my eyes.
I'm not at all surprised that it was a coach like Belichick who saw the potential in Ebner.

Smart pick for the Pats.
I know Brewster had lots of trouble snapping this year, but does anyone remember how he did head to head against Still, Worthy, Crick and Martin this year? I've blocked a lot of this season from memory.
