I just want to commend the young man on a formidable performance on that DL. He's been heavily critisized, and its nice to see some paerseverance. He made a few nice stops plugging up the middle. Way to go Chris!
edit- Can't move this guy

It's nice to see Carter making something of his move to DL. I didn't have a chance to see the Spring Game, but I'll make sure to pay attention to Carter when I watch the replay.

I didn't et a chance to watch spring game yet..have it recorded..but I like what i heard about Chris Carter. Could be a solid NT for us down the road once Hankins departs. A guy 6'4 320 plus is a valuable asset on the D-line. Would be great to have a MNT. Cody type on the defense.

I admit to being hard on the guy for his past (like 'measuring' grils for ROTC uniforms or whatever that was) and for being a real 'project' from the 2011 class. But it was good to see him take advantage of the opportunity he's been given on the defensive side of the ball. If he works hard, I think he could be a solid contributor.
I agree this dude could get to the point where you can't run the ball to his side of the line. He just takes up so much room. Honestly I am surprised he didn't make the switch sooner. In run situations he is the immovable object and Simon is the unstopable force.
Absolutely. Hope he can contribute to some wins and make a good name for himself.
I think he can make an impact right away. He was pushing the offensive linemen 5-10 yards into the backfield on a regular basis. I did notice though that after 4-5 plays he wore down and stood straight up. A little more conditioning and he's going to be a solid player on the defense.
Lots of potential there, I liked most of what I saw out of Carter. However, he got sloppy at times, tried to shoot the gap, and got owned by the OL as a result. He'll learn to stop doing that over time, Vrabel will have him coached up before long.
