How do you feel about this Alex? It seems from everyone's posts that Alabama is his favorite, which given the recent history I get, however, I think him along with Price, Spence, Washington, Pittman, Schutt, etc....in the near future would just be NASTY! Do you think the depth we have on our D-Line will scare him off or do you think it doesnt' matter since he is such a talent?
I like the fact he is on campus with Meyer....huge huge huge huge moves need to be made though...Bama is the favorite right now....need to have a 11 out of 10 grade on this visit...and no, I don't think depth will scare this kid off
I agree 100 %. Kid plays with an edge he knows how good he is, he wont be scared off by competition. I bet he will be an immediate contributor where ever he ends up. Alex do you know if his family is with him on this visit? I have to think given that his mom and uncle are alumni that it would really help having the family there as well.
Alex, will you get to speak with Joey after his visit to see what he thought? Tell him to play football at OSU please, will you? And that it will make his mom happy if he does so. Thanks.

I say he's gonna be a Buckeye!! Urbz won't let him out without a proverbial fight!! Go Bucks!!

@juventas I don't think so, I'm pretty sure Alex has said that he thinks its pretty much just Bama and tOSU, with Bama having a slight lead going to into this visit. So lets hope it goes very well!
Speaking of this visit, anyone with any info about how its going please post!
Bosa is visiting this weekend. I think that's the extent of it. I certainly don't consider Michigan to be a player, but if any group was to be impressed by what Michigan brings, it would be the DLine, IMO. We basically have 3 DLine coaches. Montgomery, Mattison, and Hoke.

Thanks recruitbuck, I did jump over to the premium board and its blowing up with good news of this visit. This is exciting and sounds like it could get even better!
Bosa also tweeted "Unbelievable".........Going very well......YES. Beautiful day helps too. Seems a lot of times these guys are here and the weather sucks but not today.
The Oval in spring on a nice day- nothing like it. It makes the rather overwhelming campus much more hospitable, for lack of better wording. If his mom is with him, and she enjoyed being a student at Ohio State and hasn't been back in a while, there is no way that she doesn't get hit by the OSU nostalgia train and start telling him "I remember" stories.
HaHa GSW, Urban looking for that killer instinct he talks about. Looks like Joey has it as we all thought. Sounds like a great experience for him and a great time!
Not that we had a good shot anyway, but it's idiots like that fool that can kill any chance a school has at a kid. Columbus isn't a dump, it just smells bad...no, but really, arena district and campus area/high st are pretty decent. Love Nationwide, Newport and LC Pavillion (or whatever it's called these days).

Sorry that Columbus is an actual city, not a little college town like Ann Arbor that is maintained through tuition money... I don't think anyone should be ashamed of living in a beautiful city with a ton to do, which compared to some larger cities, is as clean as possible. Also it seems interesting that Michigan fans should consider cleanliness of a metropolitan area when AA is eerily close to Detroit
The funny thing is that the troll-verine actually lives in Columbus.. Normally I disagree with our ttun posters, but Hail hit it right on the head. That guy is a fool.
Yup Troll-verine is not doing himself or his school of choice any favors. We have these creatures too, by the bushel mind you, but luckily I think ours STFU when it comes to tweeting target recruits on their visits to your rival. I shall now wait as HAIL shows me ample evidence of our knuckle-draggers doing the same, I'm sure it exists. These kids are used to all kinds of dreck spewed on the intertube and has close to zero effect on their commit.

Can't say enough about this kid but damn I hope he signs with the good guys. Found this twit pic and I think Mickey will have a head start in shaping this dude. This is a junior in high school??
I maybe getting way ahead of myself but this kid is a beast and will make the 2013 class sick!! No way the bucks won't have the best D line in the country with this type of elite talent!!
been checking out 11 warriors for about 6 months now and cannot tell you how much i appreciate the information you guys are putting up on this sight. just a quick comment on Joey, i cannot remember the last time i saw a kid that was just tossing centers and guards around as easily as this kid. he is an absolute beast and has that violent streak that all of us bucks fans love. he is just running right through double teams or slamming somebody into the ground. he would be a tremendous fit and boy would i love to watch him toss kyle kalis around like a rag doll.
dubjay could you even imagine marotti getting a hold of him. he is lightning quick for being as large of a human being as he is. good god is he a man amongst boys or what? seriously, he would be ready to start day 1 for anybody in the country in my opinion. could you even imagine him lined up on one side with adolphus washington, spence, etc... it would look like an NFL size defensive line, now that would counter what michigan has done up front for the 2013 class. the game would get really real then.
Heck Silver, I could barely imagine what the current Dline could do to UMs offensive line. Spence, Washington, Simon, Hankins, Pittman, hopefully a healthy Nate Williams and others. You could run 2 deep on them and not miss a beat. Add Bosa to that mix and yes, it will get very real. But as of now, this line is massive on talent and should dominate most opponents. The sickest part is behind them is probably the fastest LB crew in the B1G and top ten in the country (as far as speed).
Bosa tweeted "Beautiful day in Columbus" seven minutes ago. This has to be a good sign, not a long drive but gotta wonder if he's going to make it up to Ann Arbor this weekend....
Whether he goes to Ann Arboro or not, I was just told this visit could not be going any better...OSU is making BIG MOVES this week with Joey...if he stays longer than expected, it is a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY good sign :)
Hell lets just have him come back for our spring game next weekend! Wishful thinking, but hey anythings possible. Seems as if we've moved into the leader spot for bosa
@B_PBUCKSFANS , That is awesome. Just from the outside looking in, I don't see how his visit could go any better (except for the obvious). Maybe we'll get a gray box of HUZZAH! tomorrow, I could dig that.
"You have to slay the selfish beast inside of you and be your brother's keeper" - Chris Spielman, on being a great teammate
Yeah he tweeted "Don't wanna leave but I gotta say goodbye Columbus I'll be back soon" followed by "On my way to that place up north". HaHa wouldn't say the name !!!!!!
Apparently a whole bunch of Michigan fans (including the state of Ohio assistant attorney general) got mad at him, so he said it was a joke. Pantoni tweeted:
The Michigan tweets are blowing up over that comment. he has removed it but it's causing him a lot of backlash....this can only make us look even better.
Is he an elite talent? Absolutely he is. Were we ever recruiting him hard? I do not think so. The only reason he is visiting is because he is in the region. I am not going to cry if Bosa does not commit to Michigan. No Michigan fan who follows recruiting ever counted on it. As a matter of fact, if I was Hoke and saw that tweet I would tweet him back and tell him to not even bother to come up. Thats just me though. But, I will be a lot happier if he commits to Alabama ;).
is your "so it begins...." comment referring to mine? That would be funny because me and hail have mentioned for a while now on this board that we were never throwing our eggs in the Joey Bosa basket. I do accept the fact that Ann Arbor is not going to appeal to everyone and that not everyone is going to love their visit when they do visit our program. It is a very liberal city and some people just do not fit there. Unlike some of you guys,You guys think Columbus is the end all be all of the college football world and if a kid did not enjoy their time there or something of that sort, you guys just say oh Urban did not want him, or we stopped recruiting him. I saw the comments on here in regards to Foster. This is not flaming or trolling btw, I just comment on what I see here at times. I hate when people do that on our Michigan boards and I am the first to post and to tell them to shut up about it. So, if Ann Arbor doesn't work out for Joey Bosa and Columbus or Tuscaloosa does, good for him. We are going to win some and lose some.
Agreed. If Bosa would have come to AA he probably would have said he enjoyed his visit and moved on. Hopefully, for his sake, he just goes and gets it over with and doesn't say anything negative. If he likes the drama, we might have helped bring him to Columbus. But if anyone can find a "somewhat" knowledgeable Michigan fan that expected Bosa to commit to Michigan, I would love to see it.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
MFan there are Michigan fans that say the same thing when a kid chooses elsewhere. I am not one to say that when a kid chooses elsewhere we stopped recruiting him but to act like Ohio State fans do that and not Michigan is bullcrap and you know it. I am a big fan of this Bosa kid and hopefully we are now as high/higher on his list than Bama. That is a school that doesn't miss out on a lot of kids they go after so it won't be easy to get him but have to like our standing more than before the visit.
Had a good time reading through this thread, then of course I get to "bla, bla, bla...scum wasn't recruiting that hard....hope he goes to 'Bama." Not cool.
Sadly, I do agree with MMan. There were so many people that jumped off the Foster bandwagon. I kept my mouth shut and I am still on the Foster Wagon, and i have no idea where it is going. I want this kid hardcore, just hope that everything works itself. And the issue is not only contained within a tOSU/scUM circle, that type of @$#% happenes everwhere at ever college. If a coach does not want a recruit after a visit or the recruit didn't like the visit, people say the school didnt want them anyway. But Bosa, you have to admit, those tweets do look good for tOSU, even if they are just tweets. Maybe he is just playing the fans but, after the week of work I just went through, I am fine being strung along on a few recruiting games if it makes me feel a little better this weekend. haha
I'm tired of all you people bantering back and forth about "trolling" and other BS... If you don't like Michigan fans on this site, then don't visit. It's non-stop, and you ruin the site.
The "we weren't recruiting him that hard" argument is what I was saying begins. I think what you mean is what M Man said, which is that a knowledgeable Michigan fan didn't expect him to commit. And I think that's what the big difference is - you can still recruit the guy hard but not expect to get him. But to say that you aren't recruiting a guy hard despite having him attend your spring game, giving him a commitable offer, and him being an elite talent, is really just not true. When Ohio State began recruiting Noah Spence I don't think that they expected to get him, but they were still recruiting him hard. We happened to get him. If we didn't, no one would have said "Oh, we weren't recruiting him hard" We would have said "We got in late and he was a Penn State lean."
If you read teh Black Shoes Diary link in Buck Shots that Alex did with Penn State, I found a really good comment from Alex or someone at 11w that really sums up the "recruiting hard" idea. It essentially said that the "we weren't recruiting him hard" argument only works when the guy doesn't have a commitable offer and is behind a few other guys on your board. I have to think that Bosa is pretty near the top of your board.
As for Robert Foster, I don't think it's fair to look at people on here and mock them for saying that Urban doesn't want Foster when that's what many credible people were saying after his visit. Keep in mind that we are going to be watched very closely as a program since the NCAA sanctions and the Meyer hiring (and speculative aftermath), so character is something critical to the recruiting process. I'm still on the Robert Foster bandwagon because I think kids deserve a second chance (if he in fact blew his first chance).
DMCDougal: first-rate comment! If everyone argued from such a strong logical foundation, my comment volume would be cut in half - which would make some fellow commenters happy.
This thread is getting out of control. Bosa had a seemingly perfect visit to OSU. He is probably less of a Michigan possibility than he was 3 days ago (which was < 5%). This is no surprise and requires no explanation. Now if Ty Isaac, Treadwell, or Levenberry commit elsewhere, Michigan fans will be pretty disappointed and some will try to rationalize why we didn't get them. The bosa situation is the complete opposite.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
New to the boards (with an account), ive been following these boards for a year or so, and im really excited about Bosa, hoping we can lock him up next time he visits or sooner
I don't care if michigan fans say they wanted him or anything. It doesn't matter. Fact is if we land Bosa I will be more excited about it than Adolphus, Spence, Pittman, or any of our numerous 4 and 5 star d linemen because I think he's that good. Let them think they didn't want him and then rethink things once he's All Big Ten down the line.
I'd be thrilled if we land Bosa too but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a bigger haul than Spence. We might have the deepest D line in the country yet I'm willing to bet Spence starts immediately. Bosa wouldn't.
I think Hail said it best, any Michigan fan would take him in a second! Now, judging from his lack of tweets today he probably did not enjoy it as much as he did Columbus. I am rational (hence the name lol) enough to admit that Columbus was better than Ann Arbor for Joey Bosa. But like Hail said he was never in our sights and we never had expectations for him or ever thought he would commit to Michigan. Now, if Isaac, Levenberry and Treadwell chose someone else over usI would sit here and say wow that sucks, because it seems like our eggs have been thrown in those guys baskets. Considering they told O'daniel and Anzalone to not visit.
Joey Bosa is an elite talent, I am just saying you guys are invested more into him than we are. If he chooses Alabama there is going to be more upset fans from Columbus than Ann Arbor. Even though you should not after that haul last year on D.
Joey just tweeted he might try to come back for spring game and changed his avi to him in an OSU jersey...not bad signs... I had a good feeling coming into his visit and have a darn good feeling coming out of it....this kid is ours to lose
Okay, so Alex, you're telling me that the crazy sick D-Line we already have is likely about to add an elite D-Lineman in Joey Bosa?! Talk about embarassment of riches. Get me Anzalone, Love, and one more LB, and add one more DB and then wrap a bow on this defense because it is good to go. Jesus. Joey f-in Bosa. Bawse.
I agree Alex. I hope Joey comes back for the spring game. Would love to have this stud in Columbus! It would feel even better to see Meyer beat out Satan for a recruit. :-)
There is a new article up that claims his top 4 are now: Alabama, Florida st, you guys and Michigan.
I actually find this funny lol but kind of reminds me of Urban's time in Florida when he had recruits decide between his rivals (Alabama and FSU) so when they did pick Florida it looked like a bigger commitment. This is mentioned by both of those fan bases btw. Not saying this is exactly what is happening here, just something to keep in mind. Because I think we have no chance and wish he did not even mention us in his top 4. I do think you guys are underestimating the distance of Columbus from Fort Lauderdale. In the end, it is a big decision.
I have seen us get spurned by distance many times. Garnett last year, Sean Parker a few years ago.
I find it hard to believe Michigan is in his Top 4 and not Wisconsin. He really had nothing positive to say about Michigan (at least on his twitter) even when he was at Michigan and seemed to enjoy his Wisconsin visit more IMO.
I think we've all seen the tweets from the last couple of days (high on OSU, tweets from ignorant UofM fans, referred to UofM as TTUN, and has retweeted some negative stuff about Michigan).
So after what seemed like a forced and awful visit, he's claiming Michigan is in his top 2 or 4, even? This seems to be the most obvious bait material and I, and 90% of Michigan fans, aren't buying it for a second. When he commits to OSU, it's going to come across as a recruiting win vs Michigan. I consider most you pretty knowlegeable football fans, and I hope that you know that this is truly not the case.
The rumored conspiracy theory is that Urban suggested Bosa name us as his number two to give this appearance when he commits to OSU. Some are claiming that Urban did this at Florida with its rivals to make it look like Florida got huge recruiting wins. TIFWIW, and I'll eat my words, if he goes blue, but the math just doesn't add up. For a team not even in his top 5, to jump to number 2 after his first ever visit, seemingly surrounded by negativity, immediately following a visit of said teams most hated rival that he said he LOVED.
Let me offer my congratulations on landing a great talent in Bosa.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
SO let me get this straight Hail. You quote Joey Bosa as saying that he is down to basically OSU and Michigan, citing his time with Coach Mattison as something that stood out to him when he was there. Then you posit that it is far more reasonable to believe that he is orchestrating some ploy that Urban somehow impressed upon him to feign interest in Michigan (and by the same token imply that other schools such as Wisconsin and Florida are less likely to land him (which, again, you suggest is false)) as opposed to simply taking him at his word?!?!
I'm the first one to admit that anything goes in recruiting. Crazy things happen all the time. But for what you're saying to be right, you literally have to believe that a) Bosa silently committed to OSU b) after doing so Urban, immaturely, said that this was not enough, that instead he had to now pretend that Michigan was right up there with OSU so that when he makes his silent commitment public it will seem like an OSU recruiting victory and c) Bosa agreed to this plan and is carrying it out (seemingly for no personal gain of his own).
Haha, you're starting to sound desparate. Let it go. You should be happy that an elite recruit has you in his top 2.
Joey Bosa @jbbigbear Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
All those rumors and articles about those schools being out of the hunt are NOT true
I'm done with this kid. NYC, you're drinking the KoolAid. I never said he was a silent commit, maybe that's how it sounded. I know it's just pride and bragging rights, but don't kid yourself...this is a big win for OSU, it's just not a big win over Michigan.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
i don't think what hail2victor (that was rough to type) is saying is too crazy. while i don't know that urban actually does that with recruits, it's actually a pretty smart play, gets the talk up about ohio state beating michigan in recruiting battles (true or not) and might even convince some recruits to give osu a look they otherwise wouldn't have.
Because it is sooo obvious now M*chigan isn't recruiting him even though he went on his visit there and must have enjoyed talking to Coach Mattison based on Bosa's own comments, and Matison is the guy all you M*%&igan fans claim as a recruiting god but instead of taking a kid at his word that he liked the school you would rather say this was all an elaborate plan by Urban Meyer to look like a recruiting victory over you guys. Bosa is a top 20 player in the country and by all accounts he loved his visit here and liked the one to your school. I doubt Bosa is anywhere close to deciding what school he wants to attend, unfortunately, cause I would love him to commit to OSU. You are delusional to think or even imply the rumor Meyer would sit all of this up just to be able to gloat. Allegations like that shouldn't be posted on an Ohio State message board. Take that crap elsewhere.
"You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got 9 guys who better go do it again," said Meyer. "Do it a little harder next time."
To be fair I don't think @hail and @rational are totally off base. I started hearing from friends who went to SEC schools as soon as Urban was hired, that SEC coaches do have kids do this. I guess its pretty common? Not sure if thats true just going off what I have heard, but two of the sources I heard it from are kids who played in the SEC so take it FWIW.
That said I don't think that is the case here. Mainly because as I have understood it the kids whom coaches get to do that are 100% locks to commit. As examples my friends have pointed to certain recruits who claimed their recruitment was still open but then cancelled visits to all their leaders etc.. I think Bosa's visit went as well as it could have and tOSU leads but I don't think he is by any means a lock. Sounds like he legitimately had a good time at Michigan as well, albeit not as good of a time as he did in Columbus not unreasonable to think they would among his favorites. This all could change very quickly if he is able to make it up to the spring game. As Alex and others have said if he comes that is a very good sign.....
Cam Burrows may be the best recruiter the program has. Kid is all over it. Very happy he committed so early he is a huge asset to this class. I think its easy to overlook guys who have already committed but he is a stud, should be great one when its all said and done.
You never want to be pressured into someithing you're not sure about, but Joey Bosa is big and athletic as hell. Hope we can see him play in Columbus for the next 3-4 years. O-H!
@corveyer: I do not think this is one of those situations here as well, but it was a common practice in the SEC and still kind of is. Urban has been accused of this by Alabama and FSU. Lets be honest, it does make your program look better when you get these "huge recruiting wins." To the leisure fan it will look like, whoa Urban just beat Hoke on a big recruit. But to the nuts like us, (no pun intended) who follow recruiting everyday, we know that Bosa was never a realistic get for Michigan, so it will not hurt us if he does not commit.
I think Urban will realize quick he does not have to recruit the way he did in the SEC. That is one of the reasons he left Florida, he just felt he could not keep up with all the shadiness going on down there. I do not think he had totally clean hands down there (abundant text messaging for example) but he was not as bad as the rest. The Michigan staff does not mention any other school when they recruit a kid, that has been documented by a lot of recruits for the last two years. I think you guys have the same pull, Urban should not have to mention anything else besides what his program has to offer. Once, you start bad mouthing other schools or tell kids to hold off or to mention your rival schools name in a recruiting battle it becomes shady business to me. Just sell your school and that is definitely enough. I do think it was kind of wrong for him to tell Dunn that he was going to pull his offer if he visited Michigan. It worked this time though, just thought it was wrong and Dantonioesque. Leave the negative recruiting for a place like Sparty.
"I do think it was kind of wrong for him to tell Dunn that he was going to pull his offer if he visited Michigan. It worked this time though, just thought it was wrong and Dantonioesque. Leave the negative recruiting for a place like Sparty."
I do not have to eat my words because these were two totally different situations. When you commit to Michigan, they tell you that you cannot take any more visits because that tells the staff you are not totally committed to them. Pharaoh Brown knew this policy and then tried to be sneaky about it and then visited Oregon, without mentioning it to any of the coaches. The coaches saw that if he was not going to commit to them then they were not going to commit to him.
Brionte Dunn was committed to Tressel and his staff, when Tressel was let go his options were more open. Although, he never did officially decommit. But it was public knowledge at the time that Brionte was thinking of going to school elsewhere. It was a legitimate recruiting battle, because he did need to solidify his commitment with you guys. It is not like he was totally committed to Urban, he did visit Michigan multiple times before the visit that was supposed to happen in January. If he was totally committed to Meyer and his staff at the time I would say ok that is not a problem. Dunn entertained the Michigan coaches in his home a few days before he solidified his commitment to you guys, so he was not totally committed to Urban. Urban forced his hand. Just my opinion. I do not know if Dunn would have committed to Michigan if he did visit, but I think he would have came home and at least thought about it more.
I enjoy Meyer's approach to Dunn. I am passionate about our rivalry (giving a certain level of respect of course) and I was pumped when I found out Meyer said that. Since Dunn didn't go and eventually enrolled early, I have serious doubts that he would have switched to Michigan. Adds a little bit more fire to the recruiting war stories of OSU/Michigan which has been absent over the past few years.
This thread is getting ridiculous. You silly scUM fans and your conspiracy theories are completely laughable. Talk about a defense mechansim, you guys are so quick in trying to save face with this nonsense. Just own up to the fact that Bosa was more impressed with tOSU and gracefully bow down.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
You could easly say Nick Saban sent Bosa to OSU & tsun just to stir things up, you can say that but im not because that is stupid to even think a coach would risk a commitment like that. They want to shorten the kids list not add to it. When a coach lands a commitment like that it automaticly shows that he beat all of the other coachs if you want to look at it as a game.
You have to be 12 eggs shy of a dozen to make a comment or beleive a comment like that...
To be fair, Michigan was never a player for Bosa. It would be like Robert Nkemdiche suddenly naming Ohio State his number 2 before committing to 'Bama. Rational and Hail are not trolling, they honestly believe that Bosa has at no point even considered them for his services, and based upon the way things shook out--it seeems to mesh with that theory.
Believe me, I know how fans rationalize things; rationalization is like my roommate telling me that he's not concerned about Urban Meyer because UM beat them in Lloyd Carr's last game (smh).
For what it's worth, I don't recall any of these two saying anything about UM not recruiting Reeves hard (our last real head-to-head recruiting battle)--this is a singular case that the facts tend to back up. Now, his intent is debatable, but the truth is that after being so high on 'Bama before the visit with OSU as a clear-cut number two, how does UM leapfrog them? Maybe Michigan honestly impressed that much after a perfect visit to Columbus; personally, I ain't buying it.
He's not going to Michigan, let's celebrate that fact whilst simoutaneously reveling in the havoc he will one day wreak upon their offensive line.
Bosa has commited to no one so he can't be called a recruiting win until he commits somewhere. I just wonder why you can't just take a kid at his word. He lists six major schools of interest and that school up north is one of them. If he commits to Ohio State over any of those schools then it would be a recruiting victory over those schools. He is the one that makes the list of schools that he likes out of the schools that ARE recruiting him. If he chooses us that is a recruiting victory for us. Don't know what is so difficult about that and why ridiculous accusations about this are even brought up on an Ohio State site.
@Hodge He has mentioned his words were twisted and things reported were not accurate. Maybe he actually said something along the lines of OSU and M*chigan stood out on this particular trip he just made.
I'll give you that, Southern. My chief argument is the same gist of the "Robert Nkemdiche" thread--we may be in his top ten, but we're not even the slightest blip on his radar. Would Nkemdiche going to 'Bama be a recruiting loss for us? Not really, because he never even visited and his sights were obviously set elsewhere. Same holds true for Bosa and UM, he might have taken a visit, but he has generated absolutely no buzz towards them. We knew Treadwell was high on them, we knew LTT was high on them, but Bosa and Michigan weren't hardly being mentioned in the same sentence. I see this kind of a commit (if it happens--you're right; I shouldn't count those chickens too early) as a much bigger win for us than loss for Michigan. Treadwell going buckeye could qualify as the opposite (though it would still be huge for us).
The Waffle House on campus is going to be an absolute nightmare. Also +1 for Hodge, some waffles, canes chicken fingers and sauce sounds like an awesome breakfast, one that will also place a permanent crust on your arteries haha.
@WILLIAM - My girlfriend and I once bought a bunch of Cane's chicken fingers, and made some homemade belgian waffles. Also crushed some blueberries and sugar into some melted butter and stuck that in the fridge--yielding delicous blueberry butter, and then made cinnamon-and-sea-salt-infused maple syrup. Butter the waffles, add the chicken fingers, top with syrup, and add Cane's sauce to taste.
Edible happieness, at the expense of one year of your lifespan.
CBS actually did a pretty cool piece a couple weeks ago (Sunday Morning News maybe?) on Columbus being a test market - mainly fast food (so the McRib, W, Black Label, etc.) as well as new flavors for ice cream shops and even Giant Eagle uses the Market District location to test all of their new stuff. I thought it was interesting and I'm sure glad we get all of the new burgers and food first haha
@Hodge Dear God that sounds amazing. @Redstom45 I believe Columbus has been a testing market for years, I think it's one of the most diverse cities in the US?
@RedStorm and @William - the reason Columbus is a huge test market for many fast food items is because it's technicaly "home" to many of their headquarters. Just an FYI.
I know Wendy's and White Castle are headquartered here, but I'm trying to figure out any of the other 18 restaurant chains haha.
One of the reasons is that we have a corporate culture, but also a lot of other areas (Short North, German Village, etc.), a bunch of college kids, and a good amount of suburbs. I think one of the guys in that video above said if you mashed America into one town, you'd come up with something resembling Columbus.
I'm pretty sure Burrows tweeted a pic or two from Cane's on his trips here.
@grayskullsession: I take it reading comprehension is not one of your strong suits.........I said it in multiple posts, that he enjoyed Columbus more than Ann Arbor. I am not one who thinks Ann Arbor is the end all be all of college football. It does not shock me when a kid enjoys osu over Michigan. This is recruiting, it is how it works. But like Hodge said and how I said about 50 times in this thread, him going anywhere besides Michigan is not a big loss for us! We never expected him to commit to us so we find it funny that he mentions us in his top group. I do not think this is a legitimate recruiting battle between the two universities. Armani Reeves was!
@Rational, I completely agree with your post. It reminds me of Laquon Treadwell's recruitment. I think all of us would love it if he came to tOSU, but it wouldn't shock me when he commits to scUM. Given what's been said, it seems like thats where he'll end up. I think coaches are smart people and they know when a recruit is really into the school and with what little time you have to recruit you would think those coaches would put more time into the one's they know are REALLY interested as opposed of the one's you're not really sure about. In the end if Treadwell does pick anyone but scUM I think it won't only shock tOSU fan's but it will do the same to scUM, but I don't really see it happening. Granted who can ever say with any amount of certainity what a 17-18 year old kid will do!
I think Hoke sent Treadwell here to visit and place us among his favorites just so it will look like a recruiting victory over us when he commits to them...
Video on Scout has Joey on a interview and had nothing but good to say about OSU. Went on to say that that Ohio State blew him away & it is his best trip so far. Spoke highly of the coaching staff, specifically Coach Meyer & Coach Vrabel. Plans on narrowing his list to a top 2 and then would like to decide on July 11th for his birthday.
I have a hard time imagining what could be a bigger thrill for these DL recruits than playing for and learning from Vrabel and Meyer. Keeping a rockstar like Vrabel on the staff was a great move by Urban
RECRUITBUCK, yeah, that's some gangsta CSI twitter analysis lol. Honestly, I was thinking the same thing about the silent verbal after I saw the tweet and re-tweet. The rivals article said JB wanted to announce on his birthday in July though. Is JB coming to the Spring Game?
"I actually find this funny lol but kind of reminds me of Urban's time in Florida when he had recruits decide between his rivals (Alabama and FSU) so when they did pick Florida it looked like a bigger commitment. This is mentioned by both of those fan bases btw. Not saying this is exactly what is happening here, just something to keep in mind. Because I think we have no chance and wish he did not even mention us in his top 4. I do think you guys are underestimating the distance of Columbus from Fort Lauderdale. In the end, it is a big decision."
I could not help but laugh at you trying to not make it seem like a conspiracy theory by saying things like:
"Not saying this is exactly what is happening here, just something to keep in mind"
You know that we know what you mean by that. So before you insult me how about you take a look at what you are doing and saying first.
If Bosa is visiting both tOSU and scUM you can bet it is a recruiting battle. Own up to it and stop attacking us on our own forums.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
Rational...just move on to other threads like I did. If Bosa commits to OSU, we'll deal with it when it happens. Most people see our point. Those that don't, probably won't. Let it be.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
Talk about a defense mechansim, you guys are so quick in trying to save face with this nonsense. Just own up to the fact that Bosa was more impressed with tOSU and gracefully bow down.
This is what I posted before you posted:
I think Hail said it best, any Michigan fan would take him in a second! Now, judging from his lack of tweets today he probably did not enjoy it as much as he did Columbus. I am rational (hence the name lol) enough to admit that Columbus was better than Ann Arbor for Joey Bosa. But like Hail said he was never in our sights and we never had expectations for him or ever thought he would commit to Michigan.
I will not bow down to anyone, but I will call you out on something you're accusing me of when you fail to read what I posted. If you want to give Urban a win over Hoke go ahead lol whatever gets you through your day. I will just give Hoke wins over Urban with LTT, Fox, Bosch, Deveon Smith.
Not trying to get my hopes up because a lot could happen and its just twitter, but the way the guys from the last class and the commits for this class are talking to him you gotta think he said to them that he's close to committing.
I wouldn't have believed 2-3 years ago that so many people from age (who's the youngest?) 14 to (how old does 11W get?) 50(??) would be hanging on and subsequently posting 16 and 17 year old's tweets and followers. Crazy.
Would love to see Bosa, Anzalone, and Quick all commit at the spring game. Hopefully even though it may rain and it'll be kind of cold if we can get 80-90k in the 'shoe for the game that will definitely make kids want to do it then instead of waiting (or at least it should help!).
What? I was just looking for some clarification because of potentially conflicting reports I've seen on the interwebs. Did you take offense to me asking if a guys was going to be at your spring game? You need to relax.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
I know everyone has their opinion but I think Bosa is seriously my favorite recruit for the 2013 class and will be my favorite Buckeye when he commits!!!!
I was a heavy Marshall lean because of what he will bring to this offense, but Bosa is quickly winning me over as my favorite. Dude is cool as hell and I can see the buckeye in him! The fact that he was at OSU last week and back for Spring game, HUGE!!!! I would be very, very, very surprised he doesn't become a buckeye now! If you cut the man, I bet he bleeds scarlet and gray!
Bosa in Columbus for the spring game! Have to love that....our defense will just be downright NASTY in the years to come if he commits along with all the guys we already have and the one's yet to commit. NOW, after the spring game, PLEASE focus on the O-line. Pocic and Lazard please!
@JASONBUCK- I'm all for focusing on the O-Line, but I don't know if I'm on the Lazard train yet. Obviously, Pocic is #1. I'd rather make a push for Dorian Johnson as the #2 OT. Hell, if we take 3, give me an elite OG like Khaliel Rodgers.
LEGGGOOOOO!!!!
Shendig
We shall see how this turns out tomorrow
How do you feel about this Alex? It seems from everyone's posts that Alabama is his favorite, which given the recent history I get, however, I think him along with Price, Spence, Washington, Pittman, Schutt, etc....in the near future would just be NASTY! Do you think the depth we have on our D-Line will scare him off or do you think it doesnt' matter since he is such a talent?
I like the fact he is on campus with Meyer....huge huge huge huge moves need to be made though...Bama is the favorite right now....need to have a 11 out of 10 grade on this visit...and no, I don't think depth will scare this kid off
No one will outwork this staff, that is for sure.
Fingers crossed on this one. I will be very happy, very, very happy if we can land him. I just hope Mr. Bielema doesn't cry if we do.
Dude is favoring Bama there's no way a depth chart at Ohio State scares him.
Not sure who is with him...guessing at least his mom
Bosa's N UR BASE KILLIN YER DUDES!
The shirt writes itself. Queue up the semi-sonic, Urbs. It's closing time.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Any one have any word on how the visit is going so far?
His visit won't start until tomorrow Corveyer
Alex, will you get to speak with Joey after his visit to see what he thought? Tell him to play football at OSU please, will you? And that it will make his mom happy if he does so. Thanks.
Cam Burrows and Bosa were tweeting back and forth a little bit tonight...this could get exciting...

Work him Cam!
Cam = True OSU
I say he's gonna be a Buckeye!! Urbz won't let him out without a proverbial fight!! Go Bucks!!

Is scUM a real player for Bosa? Rivals doesn't list them as a "high" interest.
@juventas I don't think so, I'm pretty sure Alex has said that he thinks its pretty much just Bama and tOSU, with Bama having a slight lead going to into this visit. So lets hope it goes very well!
Speaking of this visit, anyone with any info about how its going please post!
Thanks, corveyer.
@Juventas...... my favorite team in Fifa video games because of the jersey
Edit: just realized its 'Juventus' for soccer. my bad. You just brought up old memories
Dubjay, that's what I was going for, just misspelled it. Ha.
@Gluefingers...classic!
@Juventas
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
@Hail dont you mean 4 guys... Hoke plus the D linemen Hoke ate...
@Hail- How many Super Bowl rings do those 3 coaches have?
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Urbz and Pantoni doin' work!
Go get em' !!!
@ Recruitbuck, Did Bosa tweet that or are you pulling my chain?
That was a Bosa tweet. My buddy passed him on the Oval today (saw his name card), so he's been around.
Bosa visit going well :)
I'm going to have a party if Bosa ends up committing-- the beer will flow like wine
The DLine could be even more ridiculous...just wow
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
So, he's been to UF's spring game and will be at scUM's spring game on Saturday. Too bad he can't make ours.
Does Bosa have an OFFER?
JK
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Bosa has an OFFER x 100000000000000000000
@Thirdleg, I guess you're talking about Vrabel? Who was the QB on those Super Bowl wins?

Thanks recruitbuck, I did jump over to the premium board and its blowing up with good news of this visit. This is exciting and sounds like it could get even better!
YEA BUDDY!!!!
Bosa also tweeted "Unbelievable".........Going very well......YES. Beautiful day helps too. Seems a lot of times these guys are here and the weather sucks but not today.
It seems that "unbelievable" comment was regarding the Shoe. Here's hoping the staff can really close it by the time he leaves campus.
Alex, are you going to have a subsequent Bosa interview/story? Is this an official?
this is an unofficial... officials usually occur during the football season in the fall
Cause I couldn't go for three
I will try to get a Bosa story once he returns to Florida.....can't do officials yet
I looked back and didn't see any of this talk when he was at Gainesville or Wisky. That is some big talk referring to the bucks! Gotta love it!
BTW, this guy digs his techno music!
Its true about the Techno according to his Twitter he is all about "Football and Electronic Music" I hope someone during the visit shows him this! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSA782eT_bM&feature=relmfu
I took the liberty of doing that
EDIT: Just got a follow back on twitter. Can't be a bad sign, right?
@BUCK-I.8 We are gonna have to put you on staff. First the wings and now this! haha
Every little bit helps!
I'm waiting for my offer from alex haha.... but seriously though
Joey Bosa says he beat Urban Meyer in ping pong 32-30 today on his OSU visit. "It was intense" says Bosa. Interesting...
HaHa GSW, Urban looking for that killer instinct he talks about. Looks like Joey has it as we all thought. Sounds like a great experience for him and a great time!
I wonder if Meyer wanted to "reach across the table and squeeze the life out of him"??
Going to go ahead and say we lead for him. Would not be surprised at a commitment soon.
Some scUM fan tweeted "CBus is a dump" and Bosa tweeted back "definitely not a dump". Great job Joey.
^^^ fortmeyer, hahaha, nice addition, thats awesome
Seems like a great kid. Hopefully he picks the good guys:)
O-H!
If you want to truly spprecate my rectuifnging, loos at our conversrtauon

Final tweet: "Great day today"
Lol, at the M-Bag getting shut down too.
Troll-verine: "@jbbigbear wait til you see Ann Arbor. Cbus is a dump...plus Michigan has the best D coaches in the biz #Team134"
Joey B: "@RhysSpears definitely not a dump"
My Spidey senses are feeling good about this kid.
"You have to slay the selfish beast inside of you and be your brother's keeper" - Chris Spielman, on being a great teammate
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
Sorry that Columbus is an actual city, not a little college town like Ann Arbor that is maintained through tuition money... I don't think anyone should be ashamed of living in a beautiful city with a ton to do, which compared to some larger cities, is as clean as possible. Also it seems interesting that Michigan fans should consider cleanliness of a metropolitan area when AA is eerily close to Detroit
So is Bosas visit continuing through today or will he be heading out early?
"You have to slay the selfish beast inside of you and be your brother's keeper" - Chris Spielman, on being a great teammate
Can't say enough about this kid but damn I hope he signs with the good guys. Found this twit pic and I think Mickey will have a head start in shaping this dude. This is a junior in high school??
https://twitter.com/#!/jbbigbear/status/160131541564010497/photo/1
I maybe getting way ahead of myself but this kid is a beast and will make the 2013 class sick!! No way the bucks won't have the best D line in the country with this type of elite talent!!
Post on scout that he may extend the columbus visit, which would be interesting to say the least.
Thanks for the update, Partisan.
good afternoon fellas,
been checking out 11 warriors for about 6 months now and cannot tell you how much i appreciate the information you guys are putting up on this sight. just a quick comment on Joey, i cannot remember the last time i saw a kid that was just tossing centers and guards around as easily as this kid. he is an absolute beast and has that violent streak that all of us bucks fans love. he is just running right through double teams or slamming somebody into the ground. he would be a tremendous fit and boy would i love to watch him toss kyle kalis around like a rag doll.
^^^ love this comment, kid knows how to play. Just watching his film has made me wish him luck wherever he goes.
dubjay could you even imagine marotti getting a hold of him. he is lightning quick for being as large of a human being as he is. good god is he a man amongst boys or what? seriously, he would be ready to start day 1 for anybody in the country in my opinion. could you even imagine him lined up on one side with adolphus washington, spence, etc... it would look like an NFL size defensive line, now that would counter what michigan has done up front for the 2013 class. the game would get really real then.
Defense wins championships......
Who knows, maybe Urban convinced him to stay through tomorrow's Saturday at the Shoe? That would definitely be a big win for us.
Note: This is ALL speculation on my part
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
If he stays an extra day or two AND cancels his trip up north...
That would make my day.
It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he doesn't show up in AA. I'm already bracing for the announcement of his commitment to OSU.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
I guess he really might not have much of a reason to head up to AACC now. The spring game could get canceled.
http://proxy.espn.go.com/blog/collegesMichigan/post/_/id/3960/weather-co...
Someone should tweet this at him to tell him to stay where the weather's better for tomorrow. ;)
"The time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect." - Woody Hayes
I'm meeting Pantoni tomorrow at Saturday at the Shoe, so if he's there, I'll try and talk to him too?
bosa just tweeted #silverbullets
The weather for Columbus is about the same for our open practice, sadly
Hell lets just have him come back for our spring game next weekend! Wishful thinking, but hey anythings possible. Seems as if we've moved into the leader spot for bosa
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
It's supposed to rain around 1-2PM last I checked.
Bosa= the next Simon
I guess Bosa left Cbus...He tweeted "I want to stay longer lol"... sounds like the whole visit went halfway decent
Also tweeted "Don't wanna leave but i gotta say goodbye Columbus I'll be back soon"
"Love my State, hate the football"
"On my way to that place up north..."
Sounds like a Buckeye to me
Yep, literally, I giggled:
Yeah he tweeted "Don't wanna leave but I gotta say goodbye Columbus I'll be back soon" followed by "On my way to that place up north". HaHa wouldn't say the name !!!!!!
Guess we all got that point across......
Love it...kid was ment to be a Buckeye.
haha love this kid already
Apparently a whole bunch of Michigan fans (including the state of Ohio assistant attorney general) got mad at him, so he said it was a joke. Pantoni tweeted:
Of course Bosa was the first to retweet it. Love this kid
Apparently they got pretty nasty with him. This person was asked to delete his tweet by MGoRecruiting
Joey Bosa@jbbigbearReply
@stevekotarski chill man
Michigan Recruiting@MGoRecruiting
@stevekotarski C'mon man, delete that. #positive
Steve Kotarski@stevekotarski
@MGoRecruiting ok my bad
I love it. Yet they call us Ohio. Double standard of idiocy.
The Michigan tweets are blowing up over that comment. he has removed it but it's causing him a lot of backlash....this can only make us look even better.
Yep. The more meatchicken fans badmouth Bosa the more it looks good for us. Keep doing it weasels!!
He tweeted he would be back soon......Spring Game soon??
Is he an elite talent? Absolutely he is. Were we ever recruiting him hard? I do not think so. The only reason he is visiting is because he is in the region. I am not going to cry if Bosa does not commit to Michigan. No Michigan fan who follows recruiting ever counted on it. As a matter of fact, if I was Hoke and saw that tweet I would tweet him back and tell him to not even bother to come up. Thats just me though. But, I will be a lot happier if he commits to Alabama ;).
so it begins...
All I know is it is going to be hella fun watching our Dline play against tsun's Oline for the next few years.
Yes, I just said hella.
@dmc
is your "so it begins...." comment referring to mine?
How great would it be if he tweeted "Brady Hoke is so fat..." jokes the whole time he's there?
Maybe he is just playing the fans but, after the week of work I just went through, I am fine being strung along on a few recruiting games if it makes me feel a little better this weekend. haha
Edit: I open with 'Sadly' as a joke ;)
Never said we didn't want him. We would take him in an instant. He's just never been in our sights, so we have zero expectations in landing him.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
@buckeyechad
I'd be thrilled if we land Bosa too but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a bigger haul than Spence. We might have the deepest D line in the country yet I'm willing to bet Spence starts immediately. Bosa wouldn't.
Bosa would be great
its a good thing tsun dosent have him in their sights, now the Buckeyes have a shot at him... :)
O H I O is the Buckeye State
I like how Bosa gave love to tOSU on twitter throughout his trip and during his day in AA, he tweets only this...
"Rainy day at michigan"
"Love my State, hate the football"
It would have been hilarious if he would have said rainy day at this state up north
Well he just retweeted that...
Bahahahahhahaha^
I like to believe that my best hits border on felonious assault.

If he ends up committing to OSU, we need to start calling him Joey Boss-a. With emphasis on the "Boss."

RETWEET J. BOSA TO GET HIM TO THE SPRING GAME! Sorry for yelling but Jedkats post above explains it. If we can get him here we've got him! Thanks.
^^^ You better be sorry for yelling, you burst my ear drums...
Hah, yeah Dubjay, just trying not to hurt anyones feelings...you know how it is round here sometimes. But damn it, we need to land this dude!
Here it is, peeps: BosaBackFlip
He tweeted a few people and told a fan he's going to try and get to the spring game.

Quotes by Bosa from [I think] Rivals (possibly Scout) that was reposted in another forum:
About OSU: "Everything (stood out)," Bosa said. "I loved it there."
About Michigan: "It was hard to top Ohio State after coming from there," Bosa said. "But Coach (Greg) Mattison is awesome."
"I think it's going to come down to Ohio State and Michigan," Bosa said. "I think Florida and Wisconsin are out."
"No decision date," Bosa said. "Probably summer."

LOL WTF...super-elaborate recruiting conspiracy theories?
^^ duh, that is the ONLY reasonable explanation!
"Love my State, hate the football"
If he comes next weekend, game over. That's it.
Amazes me how people react to these high school kids tweets.
i don't think what hail2victor (that was rough to type) is saying is too crazy. while i don't know that urban actually does that with recruits, it's actually a pretty smart play, gets the talk up about ohio state beating michigan in recruiting battles (true or not) and might even convince some recruits to give osu a look they otherwise wouldn't have.
Tweet-gate
"You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got 9 guys who better go do it again," said Meyer. "Do it a little harder next time."
^^^1,000^^^
@Hail To even mention the "rumored conspiracy theory", makes me lose some respect for you. I bet you even believe in Santa.
Thanks, RECRUITBUCK!
Wow, four pages of comments! Burrows and Price are tweeting at him now, saying the sooner he commits, the less stress.
Jayme's getting in the act too.
Luckily Cam will be at the spring game. Honestly, they should just take these kids to Thurman's and to Piada. 10+ commits right there ;)
You never want to be pressured into someithing you're not sure about, but Joey Bosa is big and athletic as hell.

"Love my State, hate the football"
Upnorth, nice article! I guess he has to eat his words. However, I think a lot of coaches do this to some extent. I don't consider this shady at all.
O H I O is the Buckeye State
To be fair, Michigan was never a player for Bosa.
@RecruitBuck - and Raising Cane's...though I do love me some Piada.
Yessir! They're also putting in a Waffle House on High Street on campus...#Heaven
Waffle House better not take business from Buckeye Donuts... BD is the best place on campus for drunk food and breakfast
I want to take a caniac into Waffle House...I love me some chicken and waffles.
Not only diverse, but also a damn near perfect cross section of our country's population demographics.
Should make Louisville a test city. Supposedly we are the fattest city in the nation!
@Squirrel Master I think either Houston or Dallas owns that distinction with Detroit coming in third?
@RedStorm and @William - the reason Columbus is a huge test market for many fast food items is because it's technicaly "home" to many of their headquarters. Just an FYI.
Edit: alogn with a bunch of other reasons
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/fast-food-products-tested-fi...
Houston took the crown again this year
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-3445_162-57404087/columbus-ohio-test-market-...
OMG a Waffle House on High Street. Madness......
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
@SouthernOhioBuckeye very well played.....
O H I O is the Buckeye State
Video on Scout has Joey on a interview and had nothing but good to say about OSU.
JB may be a silent, considering he always tweets about being up late, and JB just retweeted his tweet that said "Gonna sleep good tonight!".
I think he's a silent and will announce this weekend. JB is the only one to retweet it.
That is the high quality twitter analysis I'm not paying to see, RecruitBuck! Keep it up- like your style.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
That and the whole "surprise" tweet from Bosa=he silented, and will make it public probably Saturday #ExtendedTwitterAnalysis
But if I'm right, that would be awesome. It's fun to speculate.
@ Juventas, Billy Price said he didn't want to committ till like July, two days later he committed.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Really? Wow. Interesting. Thanks for the nugget!
Alex, you hearing anything? :D
@ Rational Mfan
I can actually read just fine. When I read this:

Let it be.

Gray skull did kinda get attacked. Id like to think anyone who spends time on a forum has the capabilities to read and comprehend. Just a thought
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
My last post for this thread:
This is what you posted Grayskullsession:
Looks like David Perkins is applying some heat on twitter:
https://twitter.com/#!/The_O_Life/status/192403022075281409
Not trying to get my hopes up because a lot could happen and its just twitter, but the way the guys from the last class and the commits for this class are talking to him you gotta think he said to them that he's close to committing.
Joey Bosa is now following Alex Anzalone on twitter.
I wouldn't have believed 2-3 years ago that so many people from age (who's the youngest?) 14 to (how old does 11W get?) 50(??) would be hanging on and subsequently posting 16 and 17 year old's tweets and followers. Crazy.
REDSTROM45.....haha. Sad, but true. I am just taking advantage of modern technology to fulfull my recruiting addiction.
Spring game decision coming soon?
Would love to see Bosa, Anzalone, and Quick all commit at the spring game. Hopefully even though it may rain and it'll be kind of cold if we can get 80-90k in the 'shoe for the game that will definitely make kids want to do it then instead of waiting (or at least it should help!).
Is he still debating on whether or not he'll be attending the Spring game? I thought it was a done deal that he would be there.

What? I was just looking for some clarification because of potentially conflicting reports I've seen on the interwebs. Did you take offense to me asking if a guys was going to be at your spring game? You need to relax.

@Hail, don't think he's debating about coming to the spring game, I think he means on his college decision. At least that's what I drew from that.
i can pee further than both of you!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it's about whether he'll be at the spring game. There's been no confirmation yet as to whether he will be attending.
@Hail I'm pretty sure that he has not confirmed for the spring game yet.
If he makes the drive from Florida (right?) for the second weekend in a row, I think you guys can start counting your Bosa chickens.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
@Hail I agree that would be huge. Ya Florida he is from Ft. Laurderdale.
^^ That is a pretty bad-ass chicken...
Edit: the '^^' was meant for the post above corveyer
kind of childish but just keep tweeting the dude...seems to be loving the bucks now...
Looking forward to some #exciting news:)
Joey B will be there this weekend.
I know everyone has their opinion but I think Bosa is seriously my favorite recruit for the 2013 class and will be my favorite Buckeye when he commits!!!!
Yep he just tweeted "excited to be in Columbus this weekend!" this is def a good sign...
bslatco, I like all our recruits, but Bosa is definitely my favorite.
"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
I was a heavy Marshall lean because of what he will bring to this offense, but Bosa is quickly winning me over as my favorite. Dude is cool as hell and I can see the buckeye in him! The fact that he was at OSU last week and back for Spring game, HUGE!!!! I would be very, very, very surprised he doesn't become a buckeye now! If you cut the man, I bet he bleeds scarlet and gray!
Well definitely scarlet!
Bosa in Columbus for the spring game! Have to love that....our defense will just be downright NASTY in the years to come if he commits along with all the guys we already have and the one's yet to commit. NOW, after the spring game, PLEASE focus on the O-line. Pocic and Lazard please!
Well here's another sell point for Mr. Bosa (a fan of electronic music): Skrillex will be having a free concert at OSU this year (probably in May).
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
