I have been following the recruiting of this 2013 class pretty closely. I was just wondering who some of our top targets are and what position do they play on the o-line?
The only guy I can think of off the top of my head is Pocic at tackle and I know Lisle is already committed. Who else are we working on and where do we stand with them at this time?

Look at this 247 Target Chart (expand it at the bottom).

I appreciate the information brother. I just wonder who is pretty high on Urbans list of guys though. I have been seeing we may only take 1 or 2 more and Pocic is the obvious choice for one of those spots but I wonder who they are going hard after.
Pocic has to be #1. After that, it really is a mystery if they even take another one. Munger could potentially play guard should he commit.
Dorian Johnson out of PA would be a fine get as well.
Khaliel Rodgers has looked great in camp this month, I hope they give him some looks
yeah with notre dame and michigan already landing a decent crop of the top tier guys i figure OSU has to have a good chance to land 2 of the top guys still uncommitted. i recognize names of almost every other postion except line so i am just trying to get more information on these guys, get myself educated on who's who with o-line prospects.
Marcell Lazard
vacuuming sucks
Marcell Lazard committed to WVU.
Maestro, Lazard committed to West Virginia.

oops
vacuuming sucks
Pocic then....
you think they call it a day with just adding pocic? it just seems that after the starting 5 we do not neccessarily have many elite guys to back up. i forget we have dodson coming in to help out with depth but in my opinion seems like the one position on the team that needs the most improvement. i think we are ok with the recievers we have this year so o-line in my opinion needs the most help.
@ Buck 1.8- Im with you Bro! Khaliel Rodgers all day!!!

Isn't Dorian Johnson getting warm on OSU? Him and Pocic would make excellent bookends. Although I am still very high on Dodson and Decker this year!
@SILVERBULLET Theres a video from a New Jersey camp that Rodgers attended, where the couts talk really highly of him. His footwork is amazing considering he's a huge dude
The kid is a technician and he NEVER gets beat! Combine that with his attitude (calling out Nkemdiche and other top DL to"bring their ass to camp so he can domintate them") and this kid goes right to the top of my must have list.
Thanks for the video link, SilverBullet! Kid looks like a beast on the field and appears to have a good head on his shoulders. I'd love to see him and O'Connor starting at the guards in a few years!

Found Rodgers on Twitter, let's show him what Buckeye pride is all about!

He wants 500 followers, no problem. I just followed and sent a tweet saying "come join the family and you will become a made man!"

you guys are the best! this is the exact type of information i was looking for. best website ever for information like this. thank god we are an educated fan base (at least us on 11 warriors, most of us that is). you boys just took me to school and i very much appreciate it. i cannot tell you how much i love the direction this program is headed.
I didn't want to make a new thread for this, but has anyone heard any word on Ethan Pocic? Last I heard he was working out in front of four or five big programs.
Pocic has high interest level in OSU. My guess is that he is leaning towards Columbus. ND, UM are done with OL so I'd say OSU is a logiacl choice. I think we get him an Rodgers and Peterson is our back-up plan.
I wouldn't call Rodgers a back-up plan. I don't think they turn him away with or without Pocic, although Pocic is obviously first on the board.

Plus, Rodgers is seen as more of an interior lineman from my understanding.
We would not say no to Pocic, Rodgers, or Johnson. We will be lucky to get one of these three in this class. While they all have high interest, I'm not so sure any of them are OSU leans.
Pocic is most definitely an OSU lean, Johnson has us in his top 4, and Rodgers has openly admitted that when he visits osu this month there is a chance he commits. I like our chances of landing at least two of them, but will be happy with just Pocic.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
@Triv, maybe, I would definitely say he was a lean at one point, but maybe not so much anymore. I don't what this says, but seems to suggest otherwise, maybe it's just lip (eye) service for readers.

It is still very early in the recruitment of these guys. If we were in this same position we are in now with these guys in February 2013, then I would agree with you, but all three of these guys are just starting to discover that every program in the country is interested in them. They aren't diamonds in the rough, everyone wants them.
Case in point: Pocic was offered by LSU today.
Obviously not [that close].
Scarlet thank god you chimed in on this thread. Your knowlege of O-line recruits we are working on is nothing short of amazing.
I thought it was funny scarlet. I'm sure that means a lot.
it was kind of funny, damn it!
New names will emerge. Still a long time till signing day.
Pocic and Rodgers with Peterson as back-up is what I thought I wrote, anyways that is what I meant.
