RIVALS 2013 Position Rankings

Here is the link:  http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1345045

As expected, our five recruits rank really well in their respective positions.  Nothing really earth-shattering except I find this site's evaluation of the dual-threat qbs very interesting.  They are VERY high on Travon Chapman and not quite as high on JT Barrett or Zaire.  Other than that it's pretty much what you'd expect.

I already knew that TSUN had a great class of OT's.  Looking at that list I was blown away that they had verbals from 5 of the top 23 OT's.  But then I started looking at their size, all of them are listed at 6'5" and above.  They all seem to have the size to play OT in college, but I am assuming that a couple of them will move to guard or center to make room.

What is their plan with all of these tackles?  If they are going to move them around a little, won't that present a problem for Shane Morris in seeing receivers and reading the defense?  Seems with a line that big, it would create all types of problems for the QB on passing downs.  This is a serious question, I am not looking for responses of how they are stupid or anything like that.  Just some insight from someone who might have a better idea than I do.

All I can say is that Michigan and OSU are going to be monsters for a long, long time...different types of monsters, but we are both killing it and will only get better by the looks of the guys were are in on.  It seems to me that Rivals is one of the more respected services, so this is good for all of us that like to brag.

I realize our chances with people such as Tunsil and Fuller aren't the greatest, but I was just wondering how you consider UM as targeting and not OSU when we have offered both

Last i had heard Tunsil had his top 5 down to 4 SEC teams and UofM.  Rivals doesn't even have OSU listed on his profile:

Fuller was a typo and edited.  But you're right, I think both schools are long shots at either.

Hail - Ty Isaac is not a U of M lean.  Your posts always stink of the Michigan bias.

Fail as much as I hate to side with a Michigan fan, UM as been considers Isaacs top choice for some time. Many speculate that's where he will end up, though the recent commit of smith may change that.

I suppose we'll find out for sure after he visits USC this weekend, but mind telling me who is ahead of Michigan for Isaac?  My posts just give a Michigan perspective.  I actually try not to be biased, and this post was the furthest thing from Michigan biased.

EDIT: Ty Isaac #2 RB (UofM at the top of his list but once he talks to Urban Meyer he will rejoice amongst Buckeye nation as he will surely become the next Eddie George, but will surpass Griffin and become the only 3 time Heisman Trophy winner)

nice work hail. I appreciate you posting all that info, saves me a lot of work. i agree with your comment about um and osu being loaded for years to come. i don't see either school having a hard time bringing guys in as long as they have their respective coaches in place.

To be honest, if osu only takes 1 back this year I would rather have green. He has the wheels Urban loves and our running back haul in this last class lacked that. Brionte Dunn and Carlos Hyde can fill the power back role, and there will be other good backs like Isaac in future classes. So Green is my #1 target, but if we're looking at a second Isaac would definitely be one of my top choices
