Offer has gone out to Plano (TX) Prestonwood Christian Academy OLB/DE Michael Mitchell. His brother, Mickey, is a top ranked basketball player in the Class of 2015. Both players are looking at Ohio State.

Ummm I don't mean to be rude but a 2 handed jumper from 3 point land is pretty easy...I'm sure I'm not understanding what you mean by that?

no one uses 2 hands to "shoot" the j, they take the ball up with 2 hands, then release the non-shooting hand, and shoot with the right or left. Watch the video again, and he "pushes" the shot with BOTH hands,(both hands on the ball when he releases) thus what I called a 2 hand shot. It hard to control, shooting the ball with both hands, because usually your dominant hand will force the ball off target You're probly not old enough to remember the 2 hand "push" shot,(the feet never left the floor) which basically went out of vogue in the late 1950's when most everyone changed to the jump shot. The UD Flyers had a player back in the early- mid fifties who was one of the 1st players to use the "j". Believe he was from C'bus, they called him Jumpin' Jack Sallee.

I've heard it called the "set" shot and yes, I know what it is. I had a coach, Frank Shannon who used to coach at Ohio Weslyan who shot that way. I played ball and was pretty good actually. I had the opportunity to play against some pretty good guys. I saw Jimmy Jackson one time from half court sitting down shoot the ball and make it 2 out of 3 shots at camp one year.
