Hoke is embracing the big-name coach on the Buckeyes sidelines as the next chapter of this storied rivalry unfolds. He even went as far as calling the school down south by its proper name.
"It's never about a coach in this rivalry, it is about two great universities," Hoke said.
"We have a lot of respect for that school, for Ohio State, and I like to think they feel the same way about us."

Honest to God, Fansince1968; I have been going out of my way to use all four words, "The Ohio State University," I am so sick of the word games. Maybe Brady is gonna drop and give us 20. Did Meyer make somebody do that? Or was it one of our coaches? Anyway, thanks for this. I am going to sleep better tonight, knowing that Brady Hoke said "Ohio State." Some reporters, in an exercise in mild insanity, have been doing quotes like, "Hoke then said that the rivalry with Ohio [State] would be the team's top priority," or "According to David Brandon, 'Ohio [State] will remain in the current position on our schedule,' denying the recent speculation." Gimme a break.
I agree with you dude, a federal subpoena or a formal request for information is really needed in this case.
I respect that school up north. I love the rivalry. As a buckeye fan I think Hoke was a great hire for them, the big ten, and the rivalry. They won the only BCS game for the Big Ten this year even though they played a crappy game.

I'm 100% joking around. I can't speak for the OP, but I'm am getting antsy for some news - preferrably of the recruiting variety. This offseason is going to be long if I'm already getting antsy in December.
Also, since I haven't relished in our victory lately, this little tidbit provides some "re-fueling" for the rivalry.
I just like using the correct words, to, you know, call things by their proper names.
And, Hail2Victors9; this same subject prompted several posts on MGoBlog as well as a note in the Detroit Free Press, didn't it? Hoke made this meme a story; don't blame people if they actually pick up on it.
Come to think of it, as long as Hoke is talking about mutual respect "between two great universities," I don't want to ridicule him in any way. That's exactly the sort of thing that is nice to hear from Brady Hoke, and I congratulate him for it.

My bad...didn't mean to insult anyone or the site (which I have complimented numerous times. Just alluding to the fact that there was the post about the Ann Arbor Chipotle worker and then this, which I personally found to be stretching to get a dig on Michigan ( which I fully expect to see on this site).
