So this one is interesting. Add Henry Poggi's name to the list of "2013 Kids who Michigan and Ohio State both really want." Dymonte, Gedeon, Poggi... (who else?)
No predictions, no trashtalk, no nothin'. But since it is March and there is no basketball on tv right now, this is what we've got.
@Bassplayer7770 No, you are very right, but Bosa IS pretty darn good. Not like the Buckeyes are hurting for DEs right now, but given our team's injury issues recently on that side of the ball, more depth there couldn't hurt. I still get nightmares from seeing no push from the defensive line most of this season, other than John Simon going into Beast Mode every few plays.
I think they would take Bosa AND Poggi...both too good to pass up...if I had to bet, the odds are better Bosa is a Buckeye but let's see how this visit goes
I would love Poggi to go to Michigan, one of the guys I said that was a must get for us. Hopefully he will get turned off by the depth you guys have there ;)
In other news, Joey Bosa will visit Michigan soon:
Joey Bosa will not be a Michigan Wolverine, you can mark me down for that.....Alabama, OSU, UF, FSU, and Wisconsin are his top 5 and I would bet it's any of the first four of those
I think we have more of a realistic chance at Poggi, I believe he has visited us twice already. Do not quote me on it, but I am pretty sure.
Alex, I think Alabama is gonna be a key player in this kids recruitment. We do have some kind of positive momentum in the state of Maryland with Countess and the current Good Counsel kids, so hopefully this can relate to him somehow. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Nice! If they get Poggi, does that mean the door is shut for other DL, i.e. Bosa out of Florida?
I had thought Bosa was considered more of a DE. Am I wrong?

It is partially paywalled, but the header shows. Interesting to see what happens here.

Also think Poggi goes somewhere else not named Ohio State or Michigan

Eric Kumerow is Bosas uncle I believe. He was a star DE for OSU a couple decades ago. Along with his mom being an OSU alum could help us alot.
Thanks for the info Alex
Poggi has been to Michigan twice, including their game against Purdue last season. Link here.
Bosa is better now than Kumerow ever was IMO. Bosa is a beast.
Fort Meyer you are right....I think Poggi will go to Bama just a guess though
Let's keep getting that d-line stronger and stronger.
Detroit Buckeye
Poggi had visited Michigan twice and will visit again soon. Some of our commits are working on him hard. I like our chances.
Bosa is in constant contact with mattison and will visit in summer. He's a possibility.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

@Hail "[Bosa]'s a possibility"
LMAO
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
lol at @thirdleg. I was thinking the exact same thing!
"Love my State, hate the football"
Looks like Poggi already came and went, according to this Scout article here, he enjoyed his visit and plans to make another visit in the Spring.
@Third leglouie
HAHAHA I LIKE IT
Bosa will not be a Wolverine. He'll either stay on the south or go to OSU (due to family connection). Poggi probably goes to Alabama.
