So far down the line that it's hard to accurately predict anything, but as far as guys on the roster go, I have a really good feeling about Cardale Jones. Kid has PERFECT QB size. Love his film, think he has a great arm, and is very under rated as far as mobility goes. We shall see.
He doesn't graduate for another 3 years so it's hard to gauge who we'll have signed until then, but Cardale Jones could, or any of the three possible signees in Swoopes, Zaire, or Trubisky.
I thought last year the thought of Cardale Jones taking over the QB position was a pretty weak option. However, he measured in at 6'6" like 220 or 230 and he sounds like a pretty good backup to Braxton now. I still think we need a QB in the class of 2013 though and I'm not counting Jalin.
@ WILLIAM- Don't think Swoopes is going to be much of an option for OSU. Made several comments about wanting to stay close to home and the farthest away from TX he'd want to play is Oklahoma. Not saying he couldn't change his mind but...
I'm not putting the house on Cardale Jones' future but I'm saying I have a good feeling about him. Look at his film- he's great at dropping the ball in on deep passes, think his arm and mobility are very underrated.
@BTW- Also his top 3 right now are Baylor, Texas, and Oklahoma seems obvious that he would stay close. My bet is Texas, and I think there is a near 0% chance he ends up a Buckeye (even with Meyer's obvious recruiting skills).
I agree with ThirdLegLouie, Ive seen Cardale Jones tape and he has enough highlights per game to win alot of games.. He can run he can pass and he can make guys miss. not sure why he isnt a 4* or 5* tho
He still has another 3 years here. We don't need replacement talk yet
Probably Cardale for a year, then Zaire/Trubisky

If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Agreed that its a bit early to be thinking/speculating about the next QB
For some reason, I don't get the feeling that Cardale Jones will ever see real playing time...just a pure guess obviously.

Don't give up... Don't ever give up.

Jalin will not be a QB. Cardale is at 230 now and said once he wanted to get to 240 (Tebowwww)
A Tebow that can throw a real pass
Louie, where did you read that?
