I don't think it is a B1G thing. 8 other teams know they are not in our league and are not saying a thing. Its just the two schools who feel like they are owed some magical amount of respect when they have been good for 2 years. It takes 50-60 years of elite football to get the benefit of the doubt Ohio State and ttun get. They just need to learn to deal with it.
I can't imagine that would ever happen, but it would be hilarious when all the sudden we'd be forced to buy subscriptions an ESPN based Buckeye Sports Network.
Independence would be bad. I would much prefer we attempt to form a new league with Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, West Virginia, and then two of Illinois, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, BYU.
It'll never happen- for many reasons- but that is a much stronger conference with many of the game's biggest historical names.
Thought about tOSU to SEC, but Delaney is right. Any conference expansion beyond 12 has just diluted quality without much reward. Tx A&M, Mizzou in SEC. The Big EAST expansion. The ACC pillaging of the Big EAST. Need I say more.
Honestly, I was just thinking this same thing. F off BIG; don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Well, didn't Bucknuts report The B1G is/was revisiting, scheduling "The Game" to an earlier date, in October?
If true, I say "Bye Bitches", to the B1G!
