He did win a NC with a dual threat qb by the name of Vince Young, so who knows, I think Mac Browns a very good coach, just not as good as he is said to be.
For a guy who continuously brings in top 5 recruiting classes on paper, they don't seem to translate to the field. Yeah, he won a title with young. He won a lot of games with colt mccoy. The last two years have been nothing to celebrate. And you would think with the kind of talent he rakes in every year, there shouldn't be those kinds of years.
In the case of a guy whos won as much as him, I'd be willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for 2 "off" years. If the guy doesn't get at least 9 wins this year, (should be 10 -11) that's an indication that somthings gotta give. Then again - I'm not the biggest believer that the number stars next to a kids name being the end all indicator of what the kids capable of. Still - seems like there are just too many good kids there to have yet another bad year. If I have a "second favorite" college team - it's Texas.
