If I had to guess, it's going to set a national spring game attendence record. Every student (my peers) I've asked "are you going to go to the spring game?" has said yes.
Thats awesome that one a few years ago i think was around 90000 and it was fun! Nice to be able to cheer for everything lol
Michigan Sucks!
@Recruitbuck, students don't have to buy a ticket. Your Buckid is all that is required for entrance to the spring game.
Ah I phrased that incorrectly, I've been asking "are you going to go to the spring game?". The answer has been "Yes", everytime
William, are you sure? I had midterms and computer problems the day tickets went on sale, and I never got around to purchasing one, but I'm a student. So, I don't have to pay at all? Haha.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
As a student we just have to show our BuckID at the gate.
I know I will be there

People are saying that I'm an alcoholic, and that's not true, because I only drink when I work, and I'm a workaholic.

Jais I will be there 2.
Taquitos.
All I know is that there is a game that Saturday and my ass will be there.
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
I'll be there, I just hope the weather is nice. That was the only reason we broke the record the first time.
Out of curiosity, how many posters on this thread are students and plan on attending?
Colin is a student.
I am a student, and I'll be there. And my girlfriend.
I bought two tickets for my b/f and I. I have a couple of other friends going who want to tailgate so long as it isn't pouring rain. None of us are students.
I've been thinking it would sell out ever since Urban was announced as coach, might as well start breaking records now!
We should strive to keep thy name, of fair repute and spotless fame...
(Also, I'm not a dude)
I will be rolling with a group of 4.
I want to see 11W shirts wherever I look. Get working on it ppl :P

Fan of bacon since 1981
Me & wife coming. Son is a fan also but he would not be in the town.
I bought my four. I'm taking the Wife and the kiddies. Hoping the weather is decent. If not I'll try to get B Deck seats.
Bringing the girlfriend, and my friend who loves Michigan!
^^^^ booooo (boo to scUM, but should be good to have your friend see what real football is going to look like for the next several years)
Haha, he's actually my favourite person to talk football with. It's always fun when the best analyst you know roots for your archrival. He's been just been loving the recruiting since December, let me tell you that haha!
Looks like the wife and I may be going...
Okay, ordered tickets for my wife and me, and it looks like a buddy will be going as well. I can't wait! Don't forget to wear your nametags! LOL
EDIT: I predict tOSU will win...and lose...
Awesome sounds like a good group of us going, i think there will be four in mine then another 20 or so coming up from my home town with all their kids. Spring game is a great game to bring younger children to.
Michigan Sucks!
My Wife, Daughter and Myself will be in the House! I can't wait...

Haven't missed sense 1954, I was sick that year. That's when they put me on the hard drugs, been OK ever after. GO BUCKS!
I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.
Any interest in getting together that weekend with Team 11W? Figure we could do something Friday or Saturday evening.
I might be able to do something on Saturday after the game.
Jason -- I'd probably be up for it, though I'm not sure what our plans are beyond getting in sometime on Friday.
Taquitos.
I will definitely be there!!
I go every year with my brother and his friends. Its become a yearly thing, along with our yearly big ten road trip. Been to indiana and purdue so far. Looks like michigan state is the destination this fall. Can't wait to see dantonio cry in person.
I have four tickets, going with a bunch of friends. I definitely think it'll be a sale out, I'm hoping to get there super early. I've been to the last two and last year you could pretty much sit wherever you wanted, I highly doubt it'll be the case this year for the late arrivers. Jason, we should definitely do something the Friday or Saturday of the game!
I just hope it is not hot..telling by the weather we've been having lately it's probably going to be 100 degrees -_-
Student, definitely going.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
How soon do the seats start filling up? I have about a 2hr drive and i try to get there 1-2 hr early but all the good seats are gone by then.
whats a good time to arrive for a good seat?
O H I O is the Buckeye State
I'll be there Friday evening and will likely be enjoying the Out-R-Inn before gametime. Not a student anymore but I sure did love that place.
going to the lax game before and then will definitely be staying

I know its still two months away, but does anyone have any idea of how many current targets will be in attendance the 21st? Great chance to show these kids just what it means to be a part of buckeye nation.
4 tickets purchased
Luckynutz, Joey Bosa just confirmed 100% he'll be at the Spring Game. The only other person I see listed right now is Devaris Brunson.
Forgive my ignorance, but will this be back to real spring ball? Or are we getting the watered-down version we had last year due to lack of OL depth?

Unknown at this point in time, but I can imagine Urban will want to do his own thing.
First Spring game as a 21 year old... Look out undercover cops, here I come.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
I got my tickets. Early birthday present. If the game was scheduled a week later, it would be on my birthday. Happy 25th to me.
Class of 2010.
I heard Urban during a radio interview where he said he plans to have a draft and have a real game, but it will depend on if they have the numbers (you mentioned OL depth last year).
Thanks Jason and Bass. I was asked by a co-worker, and didn't know the answer myself!

I'll definitey be there, probably a bit tired and loopy, but there nonetheless.
Question about the spring game:
How many days of practice do we get prior to the spring game? Aren't there only so many allotted?
Where can I get tickets?
And please forgive a couple of dumb questions: How do you put down, and then remove, lacrosse lines from field turf? Is the 'Shoe big enough for a regulation lacrosse field? How do you protect fans in the stands from getting whacked with high-speed lacrosse balls fired off-net?
dbit: The short, non-technical answer is that teams get about three weeks of countable practice that usually culminates in a Spring Game.
M Man, I simply ordered my tickets on Ticketmaster. The general admission tickets ended up less than $11 each after all their fees.
Been lurking since Urbz took the position... so, this is my first post... I'll be there!
RAWR!
Wonder if we can get a list going of the prospects that will be attending the Spring game. These are the names I've come across so far: Joey Bosa (DE), Gregg Webb (DT), Colin McGovern (OL), Josh McNeil (TE). Can anybody add any other names?
According to BP, LB Devaris Brunson from SC will also attend.
Is the Spring game free for students with a buck id?
@Doug Funnie ---yes it is
@M Man--- The field is plenty big enough and they don't remove the lines before the Spring Game. I've been to 2 out of the last 3 which each had a lacrosse game and I would say I never even saw a ball get high enough where it could go over the wall and hit a fan. Plus if they are shooting towards the endzones the ball has a long way to travel before it would reach where the fans sit.
If I was within driving distance, I'd be going.
