Signing Day-How many spots are open as of today?

As of the morning of signing day does someone have the actual number of players we are able to sign? The actual number of spots left. I've looked all over the site with various different answers. While seeing Dodson, Neal, Diggs, Marcus and now Caleb being talked as possible signees....do we have room for these guys? Be gentle, its my first time.

Only those close to the program know how many spots are left. They will not take more than they have spots available. There are probably some players who will transfer at the end of the current term and there is always the possibility of academic and medical attrition.

It's pretty safe to say knowing what we know for sure 4 spots is a safe assumption. (Now somebody tell me I'm FOS) lol

4 gets us to 27 and 5 to 28...with the petition to the B1G we should be good (I went conservatively w/4) but you're right...

Minnesota has 29 verbals listed. I am assuming they have to get permission from the Big Ten to sign that many as well?

Much like our situation I think it depends on how many scholarship players they have currently, tranfers, non qualifiers etc...I questioned Cinci's numbers on another board (33), and got a solid rundown of their numbers and reasons...each is unique.

Assume that at least one guy will transfer (all bets on Berry) and that Adam Griffin will change to walk on status since Archie has a big discount, which would allow us two more. Dodson, and presumably Neal.
