From www.collegefootballtalk.com - Nevin Shapiro is mad as hell and he's not gonna take it anymore.
The media has been pretty quiet about the whole Miami scandal since it broke, and of course the Penn State scandal overwhelmed everything else.
But, this could get even more interesting. Miami makes Ohio State looks like the Boy Scouts of America.
“The public is going to hate me worse in the next coming months. It’s going to be severe and catastrophic. My feelings are getting inflamed and I’m going to pop off pretty soon with regards to them and the NCAA. I’m coming for them both [UM and former players] and I’m going to be successful.
“I’m taking that program down to Chinatown and the former players and links to that program. Why? Because the U.S. government lined up 47 former players to testify against me in open court if I went to trial. That in itself is motivation to shove it up their collective [butts].”

Fine and dandy. But will the NCAA believe a convicted felon?

they have too, he has proof did you not see? U of M is done..DONE!
Will be interesting to see if ESPN actually picks up the story this time. I thought that after hearing Shapiro hooked up players with drugs, prostitutes, and even an abortion that the story may get some coverage.
Goodbye Miami, Goodbye Miami, Goodbye Miami, we hate to see you go.... HEY!!!!
Probably not to the same degree, but i feel like we have people behind the woodwork who could share some dirt about our program. My only point is that we might not want to gloat too much about Miami's problems....
Misery loves company.
not gloating, just being an ass. And every college program has unethical issues. Several have been exposed over the past several years, however, only a few have been exploited by suckass ESPN. Every college has it, sad to say. That is the one thing that taints (haha, taint) college football, but I still love it so much more than the NFL.
again, not gloating. more of a dark, grim humor-seeker
NCAA/ESPN will turn their heads the other way I'm sure. Nothing to see here.
"WAIT DID YOU SAY FREE TATOOS? No? Cash? Hookers? Nah. We're only interested in tatoos"
"You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got 9 guys who better go do it again," said Meyer. "Do it a little harder next time."
F*@k Miami. Already been convicted of major NCAA violations in the past 20 years. Here they are again. They didn't learn their lesson the first time, IMO, the NCAA should drop the hammer on them.
Guys no worries. The NCCA came down relatively hard on the Buckeyes.
OurTheir violations maketheirsours look incredibly small. They'll get smacked when the time comes.our violations make theirs look incredibly small?
Other way around. Studying calc and writing about Ohio State are things that shouldn't be mixed. -_-
Good luck on your studies. Go Bucks!
Did anyone read the comments? Comparing the Miami scandal to Boise States... Someones on some serious shit. Drugs, prostitutes and, abortions. WTF???
While every program has their dirty secrets and those rouge agents (literal agents and "agents"), I don't think any program has seen anything the likes of Shapiro. Well, not since Craig James single handedly took down SMU, only to later ruin Texas Tech by alternate, but no less sinister means. Actions which haunt him to this day. What doesn't seem to wake him at night in a cold sweat? The lives of the five dead hookers that are on his hands. For shame Craig James. #Remember the five.
In other news - isn't it ironic, don't you think? A little too ironic? Okay I'll stop.
What more could he possibly have to show/reveal? And if he DOES have more to show/reveal, why didn't he show/reveal it it in the initial report?!
Clyde Shelton (Nevin Shapiro): "I'm gonna pull the whole thing down. I'm gonna bring the whole f*ck*n' diseased, corrupt temple down on your head. It's gonna be biblical."
@ theprince614: They don't have to look at it or consider it. Remember what happened with Larry James' "proof" that Posey did in fact work those hours.
"It's just another case of there you are". ~ Doc (1918-2012)
rbuck - the issue with Posey was not that he actually worked those hours as much as what he was PAID for his services.
CincyOSU: My point was that the NCAA refused to look at or even consider the so called evidence that James had. If the NCAA would not even take a look from an Attorney, will they even consider a felon?

I guess it all is on the NCAA, if they feel like going after Miami hard they will, if they don't, they won't and there is nothing anyone can do about it..but the proof is clear as day
