So Brian Kelly locks up the two biggest recruiting circus's outside of Stefon Diggs for the Irish. It will be really fun to see two weak minded guys that can't make decisions play for a coach that screams in the face of any player that makes a mistake. Maybe he should scream at them the first practice, because they have both already made the mistake of going to Notre Dame.

ND could have landed two Gems though if they both pan out and adjust to college life managing their time well. But if they both continue to act they way they appear to have been, it could be bad for them, a gamble ND probably is willing to take at this point to get back into the NC contention scene.

I actually feel really sorry for Neal. IF what "they" say about his father is true imagine the kind of spot it puts that poor kid in. He is just beginning to enter the adult world and wants to make his own decisions but at the same wants his parents to be proud of him and tries to make them happy. I think probably the best thing is to get as far away from his father as possible. Maybe he will see how other parents and kids interact with each other and realize it should not be this way.
Did this kid really skip his press conference where the announcement was made? I thought I heard that on the radio today. If so, ND can have him.
I read the reason he missed the announcement was because he and his father had an argument over where he wanted to go. Davonte wanted to stay home and play for Arizona and his dad wanted him to go to ND. Sad

OOPS! This was already posted on another topic.
We call Mr. Neal a helicopter dad. When recruiting, we stay as far away as possible.
Both those clowns are prob quick to transfer once they realize starting spots just wont be handed to them.
This is a great fit! A kid with a big sense of entitlement going to a school where the football team has a delusional sense of entitlement. I don't think Notre Dame has been relevant in college football for about 19 years. Brian "Beetface" Kelly hit his ceiling, yo.
