One can't help but wonder - how the h-e-double hockey sticks did Diggs end up at Maryland? Mom's home cooking must be fantastical. Maybe we should have sold him more on the delicious and nutritious meals Marotti is dishing out. That said, with all the stories coming out about Edsall along the lines of:
"It’s not just that Randy Edsall is a dick. It’s that he’s an insecure dick."
And apart from Diggs, its not like the guy really has been lighting up the recruiting trail. His first class at Maryland came in 46th nationally (9th in the ACC) per Rivals, disapointing after solid classes under the Fridge for Terps fans. This year wasn't all that much better, ranked 35th by Scout. His quaterback is doing everything he can to get the hell out of dodge, along with 24 other Terapin football players since Edsall arrived. You really can't help but wonder, where did Urbz go wrong? Or maybe its just true, there really is no accounting for taste.
There is no accounting for taste. As for Diggs - I truly believe saw the "wanted" recruiting posters & heard the kids chanting his name at the basketball game & loved the attention. He'll be a big fish in that pond. But yeah - not a lot good stuff coming out about Edsall right now.

I can't see Edsall making it to opening day, hes killing the program, 24 players since his hire, 12 since the end of the season, thats insane numbers.. this guy is gotta be a total ass
This makes me wonder if Diggs is the rumoured "Big Transfer".

Someone on 11W the other day suggested that, if Diggs switched to Ohio State now, it would not officially be considered a transfer. But I have no idea.
At this point, I am now really scratching my head at Diggs' decision. Sure, a big-fish-in-small-pond can asbsolutely make into the top rounds of the NFL draft, and Maryland has had a pretty good track record of producing the occasional high draft pick. But, A). That was under Fridge; B). Why would ANYONE want to jump on that train wreck if he had better opportunities?
Sorry, but I still wonder (not an insinuation) about Mike Locksley, who is now seen as the only one who can save that program . . .
