He has to be a Buckeyy lock - Hed be playing in the absoulte perfect system for him, for the best head coach of the schools still recruiting him. I think its pretty obvious hes comming to OSU
Its always been this weekend - hes been planning to announce on (or before) the 10th. This is the last weekend he can visit if he wants to announce next Friday.
Always heard they were bringing him in for the bball game against UNC.
Monday wouldn't be a stretch for the announcement, but the way this guy likes to keep things to himself, I wouldn't bank on anything. One thing is for sure: Him and Braxton on the field at the same time -- possibilities are endless.
I really think he is the key to this recruiting class. We dont have an athlete which is the key to Meyers offense - getting your best players the ball in space and letting them make plays. Meyer is low on our speed and our talent at the skills, but I think his perception of that is skewed by the previous coaching staff's terrible offensive schemes. The spread is designed to create one on one matchups, and I like the ability of people like Smith, Hyde, Hall, D Smith, Dunn, Ball, Spencer to be able to make things happen in scenarios like that. Remember: we have seen these guys only within a very bad offense. Do not sell them out and think the only answer is something new. They were just as bigtime coming in as many of these new recruits.
I think there are a couple of potential stars on the offense for sure. I also think Diggs is a lock to be a star, and will be a major contributor from day 1.
Not a bad response McLovin - I think you are right about not selling them out. Smith, Hyde, Dunn, and Ball are all big backs and Spencer is more a true widout. I still dont think we have a True slot, pure speed weapon on the roster right now. Talent like Diggs doesnt come around very often.
I want Diggs as much as the next guy, but I don't agree that he is the key to this recruiting class. I think the LBs were more important, in addition to Dodson and Decker, and obviously the D-line in the way that it is going to be the absolute strength of this team for years to come. We can be highly successful without him and then bringing that Harvin type slot guy in next year with Marshall. This class got some very good players in positions of need. Diggs, at this point will just be the icing on the cake.
All that being said, Meyer is looking for the Tedd Ginns on this team. Diggs gives you that dynamic athlete that this team is lacking at this point.
He's more than just "icing on the cake" to this class lol. This young man has incredible speed along with great hands, route running ability, instincts, & stellar athletic ability. He will play from DAY 1 & will help Coach Meyer utilize the entire "width of the field" as well as vertically. He is definitely an explosive playmaker & I look to see many more of these types of athletes on OSU's roster coming signing day of the 2013 class. What a pickup this would be. Columbus & Ohio State is "The Place to Be" Stefon. Hop aboard the Urban Train & become apart of Buckeyenation!
I've had a feeling deep down in my gut that Diggs would be wearing Scarlet and Grey from day one and my buddy JSHENE10 can verify that as well. This kid is so athletic it's ridiculous and I think he shows it on both sides of the ball to include his strength, speed, and skill. Now idk how many of you seen his tweet the other day that said something along the lines of what's the best decision (school for him) if he takes football out of the equation.. Now me personally I believe compared to UF, Maryland and the other schools that are still in the "game" or "mix" for him, I believe academically tOSU is the best place for him..how do you guys feel about that? Feel free to agree or disagree..
Can Urban still do an in-home with Diggs? And what about Chizik and Muschamp? I get the dead period, quiet period, and all the other periods mixed up (although I know we are now in the quiet period).
Hopefully an in-home isn't even necessary with this one.
Good ole Fownzy my buddy again hit the nail on the head regarding how he took football out of the equation to select which university fits him best. Out of those choices mentioned above, it's easily OSU.....I mean the cultural diversity, academics (graduation rate), quality of education & degree among many others. We definitely want Steffon Diggs on board not just because he's an exceptional athlete, but because he can excel off the field, in the classroom (academically), & out in the community & that's what the college experience is about & that's maturing into an adult & The Ohio State University is the BEST place to do it!
Def. need Diggs or his like in a big way. This team doesn't have alot of speed on O.
For all those that continue with the J Hall weapon theme, stop please. J Hall is shifty, he's a football player and I like him; but kid is not fast or a major difference maker. We are a team that got used to having killers on O, Carter, Glenn,Boston, Gamble, Jenkins, Holmes, Ginn, Gonzo, even Posey. That's not mentioning RB's. Look, i like J Hall, he's not close to being the type of gamechanger UFMeyer is used to or I am used to seeing on our best teams. Seriously. Lets just say it how it is. We need speed on O, maybe we can get D Smith coached up and used in the right way being in a competent system( F U BOLLMAN!) plus guys like V Reed, Fields, et al. I hope you all understand what I'm saying.
I really dont like that everyone keeps saying this offense has no speed. do any of us even know? The offense we ran didnt allow for any one to showcase any sort of speed they had except for boom when we would break a run that was designed for 4 yards up the middle or when braxton would scramble and take off. i know that with the new work outs and new offense we will surely be pleasantly surprised by a few of these guys. Stoneburner was originally a WR, he has a ton of speed for a TE and will cause a ton of mismatch problems in this offense and Devin Smith is fast enough to run track for OSU, last i checked, you cant be slow for that sport, right? end rant.
Alex, I asked you on twitter not too long ago about our chances on Diggs and you thought we didn't seem to have much of a chance. What has changed in the last couple weeks to make us think that Diggs might be an OSU lean? Urban working his magic once again? Or do you think something happened with Florida to make him reconsider?
What we do know about our lack of speed is what Meyer said at the end of his press conference. He said we lacked the true speed guy like Tedd Ginn. I take it Meyer knows we need more speed.
I really like Jordan Hall in the slot position...because he is very quick. But I don't think Urbz neccessarily sees him as a deep threat. He will be reall good on screens, and quick outs in the flats...swing passes and such!! GO BUCKS!!

Buckiscott: I hate seem like a d-bag, but Alex has answered that question on numerous occasions the last few days.
I'm not saying that you should be made to feel bad for asking, since not all of us are going to obsessively follow recruiting news, but here's the rub: it seems like Alex has been super-busy, not just covering the recruiting angles, but also patiently answering our questions, including the same questions over and over again. Because this is a peak traffic season on 11W, then, Alex is having to re-answer questions at a time when he's least available to do so.
Now that I think about it, this is more another salute to Alex than it is a crack on you.
BuckIScott-well first they actually got him to visit. And even though the visit was 24 hours (less actually), they did a great job. Diggs REALLY liked what he saw with Meyer and OSU.
In some ways I see him nearly as key to this class as Denard was to Rich Rod. We have better second options than Denard, but as bad as ttun was even Denard's first year, they were worse without him. Obviously we won't have to rely Diggs as much as they rely on Denard, but I think the offense with Diggs and without him are nearly night and day (or at least dusk and day). Plus imagine Diggs, Marshall, and Gibson/Foster in a couple of years. We need that guy who can bust one on any play and I just don't quite see that with the current group. Can we still win 10+ games without him? Absolutely. But we can dominate those 10+ wins with someone like him. Heck I just want to see him in the return game, Hall was solid last year, but I want to return to the Ginn era when every other game there was a huge return that could seal the game.
@RUN_FIDO_RUN- I understand that Alex has been busy and I do too salute him for all he does for us buckeye fans when it comes to recruiting. He is one of the best in the business and I am grateful. I am fully aware that he may not be able to answer all the questions.
But this is a forum for a reason, so people can ask questions. I am busy as well and can't follow all the recruiting action every minute like our beloved Alex does and don't have the time to read every single persons comments so hence the reason why I asked the question. Didn't mean for it to be taken like this. Sorry if I came off looking like an idiot.
Alex, I'm sorry if you had already answered my question repeatedly and will try to read more comments next time I post.
I realize everyone's excitement for Diggs, as I really hope he comes to OSU as well, but I am still really high on Verlon Reed, Devin Smith and Evan Spencer. They are all ridiculously young, and had a young QB last year in a GOD AWFUL passing game. They all have good speed, Smith even maybe considered great speed. I am not as big on J Hall as everyone else is though. I just don't see it. If we get Diggs, great. If not, I want to see what Urban can do with those 3 WR's I mentioned earlier. Plus, let's not forget we have Stoney who ran a 4.48 and Heuerman who I am also very high on.
It's going to be an exciting year regardless if we get Diggs or not. I think we're going to see a lot more out of some players in a system that finally utilizes our offensive talent and I can't wait.
HONORD DEFEND - you are evaluations of Reed, Smith and Spencer as talented WR's is spot on - they are young, talented, fast and unproven - the problems is they are WR's. The reason why Diggs is so crucial is because in Urban's offense he will play more of the WR/RB position that Harvin played at Florida - this postion is the key to Urbans offensive system.
I get what you are saying FTTV, but what I was trying to say and didn't do a very good job of doing so is that I realize Diggs is an upgrade in the "playmaker" role than what OSU currently has. However, I feel like if Diggs doesn't end up in Scarlet and Gray, I think Urban can mold one of those three (probably D Smith) into that type of guy at least until OSU gets that true WR/RB playmaker onto the team a la Jalin Marshall next year.
As I said before though watch out for the TE's. We seem to all be forgetting how much damage Aaron Hernandez did in Urban's system as well. I don't think he will be shying away from that strategy again next year.
Too much hype and drama for this kid. These kids need to decide no later than Signing day! NO LATER! it's pretty ridiculous..should be the same for EVERYONE!
Pretty pathetic. It's not like it's the top basketball recruit in the country where he could literally win games on his own. Guys like this are always around.
DamStone Damien Stone
@TeddyHeisman yes actually i do. Which is why i know that Diggs came back from his visit at Ohio St and narrowed his search to MD & Florida
I'd be pretty surprised to see Diggs go to Maryland. Fans chanting his name or giving out fliers doesn't take away from the fact that this is still most likely a curtesy visit.
It's probably between OSU and Florida with OSU having a slim lead, but a lead nonetheless.
Showthemohioishere's percentages are a little off haha. It's not that close B/T UF & OSU. He's leaning OSU & a lot of signs point our way. McDougal made a great point though & that is he'll pick Maryland if he's not concerned with winning championships (conference championships anyways haha).
I'm willing to bet he doesnt care if they got edged or thrashed beings how he plays football. I'm with you though recruitbuck, if the basketball games play into his decision at all, that game didn't compare!
Maybe Alex will confirm of refute this, but I am willing to bet almost all (like 99.9%) recruits don't pick what school they are going to play football at because of the result of a single basketball game while they are on campus. It's nice that we had a great atmosphere and we beat scUM but if Stefon commits to OSU it's more becasue of his and his family's relationship with the coaching staff, connections with committed players and ability to play right away and in the system they want. I don't think if Maryland would have won on a last second shot, Stefon would have been like "whoa! this is where I need to spend the next four years of my life."
Diggs did post a video on his twitter, I assume it was the crowd chanting something about home but his comment was "thats loveee". I couldn't make out what they were saying on my phone.
According to multiple tweets the crowd at the game today was chanting his name, so the atmosphere was great fwiw. I think it'll come down to logic (osu or uf) vs hometown sentimentality (umd).
I think that the OSU/MICH basketball game DID have an impact in terms of recruiting because even though it is bball, it still represented the rivalry well with a great atmosphere and display of school spirit. Telling a recruit that the feeling he witnessed at the Schott is a fraction of the excitement the rivalry holds when it's played in the Horseshoe or Big House can really get a kid's imagination going. While that may not be a large reason why someone would consider a school, I think it does make a difference, even if that difference is slim.
However, the Maryland/UNC game could have been solid but it's not the big rivalry so it literally has NO connection to football there. Who knows? Maybe Diggs sees Florida/OSU the same in terms of where he can win and compete, but the tradition (which he mayhaveslightlyseen at the bball game) of OSU puts him over the edge towards OSU.
Maybe a stretch, but when you have two choices about even, little things like this may give a school the edge.
Maryland is home for the kid, and lets not forget they did just put a wr into the league who had a pretty good rookie year so he knows if thats what he's aiming for he can do it from home. I think it comes down to if the kid just wants to go play football, or if he wants to go play football and win championships. I hope he's a buckeye but i'm a little worried after DGB going to a similar school to stay home.
My main point about the basketball game is that it was an electric arena and featured a crowd chanting his name. my earlier post said that if he goes to Maryland, championships are the last thing on his mind.
If Maryland lands Diggs, it's going to be because it is close to home and he will be idolized by the fan base. It won't be because they have a great football program. Maryland knew that and they achieved both of those goals perfectly today/tonight.
If he wants championship football, he picks UF or OSU. If he wants individual star recognition, he picks Maryland.
^Well said. I'd heard it was an OSU lean before today, but an entire arena chanting your name? You'd have to say UMD has pulled even. That kind of thing has to effect a 17-18 year old kid.
Torrey Smith and Darius Heyward-Bay both went to Maryland and have had good success in the NFL. So it isn't like going there would destroy his career. He would get to play in front of friends and family all the time.
We do play our first game in 2014 at Ravens Stadium, so he would get to go back there once. Obviously I hope he goes to OSU, but if he doesn't I would prefer Maryland to Fla or Auburn by about one million times.
One thing worth noting though is that we don't know how the football side of his visit went. If he was unimpressed with the coaches and facilities, the love isn't going to mean a whole lot imo.
FWIW, according to two posters on premium boards who have good reputations with getting information from their "sources", Diggs gave a silent to Urban on his official to OSU and he's a lock; the MD visit was a courtesy as he had already given his word; and Urban isn't worried.
Difference between DGB and Diggs as far as staying home town. Mizzou is a lot more relevant in football that Maryland is. Mizzou is going to the SEC and James Franklin is a heck of a good Dual-threat QB...cant say much about Maryland besides they have under armour...
If Diggs gave his silent to Urban on his official that would make sense given how he so easily gave Neal up. If we got Diggs it would put this class over the top and set the momentum for next year!
Honestly, the only thing Maryland has an edge over OSU is proximity, and this kid hasn't given one indication that he wanted to stay close to home. (DGB mentioned many times that he'd like to stay close to home) Diggs should be a buckeye. But I'd say watch out for Auburn. You never know about them coming in last minute with the $$$.
Has anyone heard that Diggs has eliminated tOSU? Supposedly there's an article on Maryland's Rivals page (insiders only....ugh) that says he is down to UF or UMD. I personally don't believe he has eliminated the good guys but was wondering if any of you guys had some true insight on this rather than my guess? Right now I see it:
Alex there is quite a bit of speculation out there man & I was wondering if you have any info regarding Stefon Digg's recruitment (especially following his Maryland visit, which concluded yesterday if I'm not mistaken)? I don't believe he's eliminated OSU. Just wondering if you could shed some light on the situation please. Thanks man, really appreciate it.
Needless to say, if some people have heard OSU has been eliminated and others have heard he gave a silent verbal (which nobody knows if it holds any value nowadays), then nobody probably has an actual idea of where he ends up. The fact that OSU is even in the race shows how good Urban is at recruiting. If we somehow secure his LOI, I personally will never doubt Urban on the recruiting trail. Keep in mind, he had about 2 months compared to the year or year and a half that other schools/coaches did.
I don't see the article on their Rivals site. Obviously I'm not premium, but it's definitely not on the front page.....and you gotta think that's where it would be.
I haven't see the article myself but it has been referenced by a few people on various sites. I doubt we are eliminated but as everyone has said, we will know by Feb. 10. Hopefully, with any luck, Diggs will suit up for the Bucks!
Feb. 1 - April 1: Signing period
Feb 3 - April 15: Quiet Period
April 16 - May 31: Evaluation period
June 1 - Aug. 31: Quiet period
Quiet period is a time when the college may not have any in-person talk with the prospective student-athlete or the parents off the college's campus. The coach may not watch the prospect play or practice. The prospective student-athlete can visit college campuses during this time and a coach may write or telephone
Gotta respect that chant from Maryland. I work in the lighting industry and I hear that Oklahoma now uses led panel/banners on their light poles around campus to show recruits highlights, bios and stats as they are touring campus. Imagine that as a recruit! Your highlight real playing all over campus....
Diggs is expected to announce his decision on Friday, but his high school coach, Bob Milloy, is hoping otherwise.
“I'm going out of town to do a clinic in Louisville, leaving Friday morning. I asked (Diggs) to move it to Thursday or Monday so I could be there,” said Milloy. “My plans were set three months ago and I knew that signing day was Feb. 1 so I originally planned the clinic so it wouldn't conflict. Now, it is conflicting, but he's the one that changed it. I'd love to have him change it to Thursday.”
Kinda thought DIGGS TO COMMIT ON MONDAY? meant today, but...
“I'm going out of town to do a clinic in Louisville, leaving Friday morning. I asked (Diggs) to move it to Thursday or Monday so I could be there,” said Milloy.
WDE @MarkMurphyitat
@SkyeUnderwood Nice glasses, man. It takes away from your gayness and makes you look more sophisticated.
insider tweets coming from a guy who is verbally bashing others. Even though some may tweet things at him, he has to keep his composure. Just comes off as a total fool now, and loses credibility (even though I give him none) from my POV.
To me this is "Urban was late, Armani unimpressed" part 2
"You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got 9 guys who better go do it again," said Meyer. "Do it a little harder next time."
I just spent entirely too much time on the $ board, looking through the history of posts on the individuals who via their "sources" are claiming that Diggs gave a silent on his visit, is locked up, 100% Buckeye, and now feel very good about their Diggs prediction. FWIW
Conclusion: No one know's where he's going. Let's just wait til Friday. Regardless, OSU even getting in the game is an accomplishment by itself. Just wait til Meyer has a whole year to recruit kids, in addition to having them visit when there are actual games.

^Gotta appreciate that they're putting in work! David Perkins and Noah Spence = already love them and they haven't stepped on the field!
Jared Shanker @JShankerESPN
@MccoyStrama26 I think Ohio State likes where it sits with Stefon Diggs
^Jared Shanker is ESPN's midwest recruiting coordinator I believe. As always, FWIW--nothing different than what Alex told us already, but it's nice to hear it confirmed by others as well. There's someone called Jay Parks from Parks Recruiting that says he's leaning heavily OSU as well, but I have no idea who he is to be honest (so may as well be a random fan).
Also coming from a Maryland site, this recent tweet might shed some positive light onto the local (Maryland) sports guy's earlier tweet predicting Diggs was Columbus bound **fingers crossed**
I still like OSU's chances....with the info I have, don't see how I can't.....as I said though, DO NOT BE SURPRISED at anything this kid does....kids like this are hard to call
There's some smoke for sure with the awesomeness that is Alex and some other people:
CINCYOSU.......Dan Hellie is actually from NBC4 Washington, my bad.
Per @danhellie (Feb 2): Stefon Diggs visit to Maryland seems like a courtesy. I'm hearing he's leading heavily towards Urban Meyer and Ohio State. #Terps #buckeyes
and
Yes RT @dubz_hood: @DanHellie so you think Diggs will be a buckeye?
ahh - that tweet was also from BEFORE his visit to UM. Both guys from 247 - Shurburtt and Wiltfong, are now predicting UM based off of their sources close to Good Counsel.
Each fan base seems to have their inside sources who feel good about landing Diggs. Ultimately, there probably won't be any shortcuts to the answer. We'll all be waiting until Friday.
It's awfully clear this kid knows how to play the recruiting game. He's keeping everything very quiet & is pretty much in lockdown mode until decision day on Friday. I have FAITH he'll be a Buckeye & I TRUST ALEX with the info he has & what he provides us. Just gotta remain patient & things will fall into place. ONLY Diggs knows where hes going & for our sake, all we can hope is that it's BUCKEYENATION!
Yeah, looks like somebody retweeted Diggs saying, "Ohio state a great look Florida a great look auburn a great look Although you only can pick 1." Not really giving us any clue except he didn't list Maryland...
Where did you hear/see this?
He tweeted the other day that he is "a few days away" from committing. This weekend is his last visit. It seems logical.
- Respect the Rivalry -
His last visit is Maryland next weekend isn't it?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Unless somethings changed that i haven't heard about... you are correct TRIV, his visit with Maryland is next weekend.
Unless he plans to drop the visit, his visit is the 10th, which is next week.
Don't see him dropping. Even if Maryland has no shot to land him I bet he visits because it's his home state just as a courtesy.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
He's planning to announce on the 10th - visit is this weekend

Good call FAILTOTHEVICTORS, I stand corrected. It also seems that you've answered your own post! Great Job!

We need speed on O, maybe we can get D Smith coached up and used in the right way being in a competent system( F U BOLLMAN!) plus guys like V Reed, Fields, et al. I hope you all understand what I'm saying.

I don't see this kid as an OSU "lock." But, I like our chances. Nobody knows for sure what goes on in the mind of a teenager, except the kid himself.
"Here officer, hold my beer while I find my license."
GO BUCKS!!

@buckiScott
They were able to get him on campus, that's what changed things. Urban works wonders

Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
It's not that diggs is an outstanding receiver, it's his ability to play out of the slot and backfield that make him so valuable in UFM's offense
- Respect the Rivalry -
I get what you are saying FTTV, but what I was trying to say and didn't do a very good job of doing so is that I realize Diggs is an upgrade in the "playmaker" role than what OSU currently has.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.

It's the fans doing it, not the university. They can't keep the fans from doing it, so university wouldn't be held responsible for that.

Obvious question but...who is Damien Stone? Would his opinion be worth listening to?
This is Damien Stone. Does he look like someone you should listen to?
Just some fan with obvious delusions of grandeur.
I'd be pretty surprised to see Diggs go to Maryland. Fans chanting his name or giving out fliers doesn't take away from the fact that this is still most likely a curtesy visit.
It's probably between OSU and Florida with OSU having a slim lead, but a lead nonetheless.
Yes - we should deffinetly listen to him
- Respect the Rivalry -
If he comes to Maryland, championships are the last thing on his mind...
When you're getting considered by OSU, Florida, and Maryland for football, I bet the breakdown would be as follows:
OSU: 50.9999995%
Florida: 48.9999995%
Maryland: 0.000001%
It'd be different if it were basketball, cause Maryland is definitely a basketball school.
Class of 2010.
Showthemohioishere's percentages are a little off haha. It's not that close B/T UF & OSU. He's leaning OSU & a lot of signs point our way. McDougal made a great point though & that is he'll pick Maryland if he's not concerned with winning championships (conference championships anyways haha).

So was this weekend Diggs visit to Maryland or is he still visiting next weekend?

Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
It's a scheduled official visit. He was at the basketball game today. Luckily, UMD got
thrashededged.Did you watch the game RecruitBuck? Maryland played very well and the crowd was fantastic. Thrashed is the last word I would put on that game.
Final score. For having a three point lead (and dominating play in the first) and to lose like they did, yes I consider that they got thrashed.
Nonetheless, it pales in comparison to the atmosphere and win (OSU/Mich basketball game) he went to when on official here.
they got edged not thrashed
Okay fine, I'll change my wording. Happy everyone?
I'm willing to bet he doesnt care if they got edged or thrashed beings how he plays football. I'm with you though recruitbuck, if the basketball games play into his decision at all, that game didn't compare!
Has there been any word on how the visit is actually going?
Who knows? Maybe Diggs sees Florida/OSU the same in terms of where he can win and compete, but the tradition (which he may have slightly seen at the bball game) of OSU puts him over the edge towards OSU.
Maybe a stretch, but when you have two choices about even, little things like this may give a school the edge.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
Obviously I hope he goes to OSU, but if he doesn't I would prefer Maryland to Fla or Auburn by about one million times.
this might end up being a DGB thing and he stays home? let's hope not but we've seen it can happen
muck fichigan
One thing worth noting though is that we don't know how the football side of his visit went. If he was unimpressed with the coaches and facilities, the love isn't going to mean a whole lot imo.
FWIW, according to two posters on premium boards who have good reputations with getting information from their "sources", Diggs gave a silent to Urban on his official to OSU and he's a lock; the MD visit was a courtesy as he had already given his word; and Urban isn't worried.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
If he was that serious about Maryland, he wouldn't have dropped them a while back.
If we got Diggs it would put this class over the top and set the momentum for next year!
heres the video of the crowd chanting his name

that was actually pretty cool, gave me chills, not gonna lie
OSU - 35%
AU - 30%
UF - 25%
UMD - 10%

Alex there is quite a bit of speculation out there man & I was wondering if you have any info regarding Stefon Digg's recruitment (especially following his Maryland visit, which concluded yesterday if I'm not mistaken)? I don't believe he's eliminated OSU. Just wondering if you could shed some light on the situation please. Thanks man, really appreciate it.

Theres also a rumor that he gave a silent verbal to Urban when he was here.
Just take everything with a grain of salt. We'll know soon enough.

TedHeisman,

Gotta respect that chant from Maryland. Imagine that as a recruit! Your highlight real playing all over campus....
This is what I just read from gatorsports.com
Diggs is expected to announce his decision on Friday, but his high school coach, Bob Milloy, is hoping otherwise.
“I'm going out of town to do a clinic in Louisville, leaving Friday morning. I asked (Diggs) to move it to Thursday or Monday so I could be there,” said Milloy. “My plans were set three months ago and I knew that signing day was Feb. 1 so I originally planned the clinic so it wouldn't conflict. Now, it is conflicting, but he's the one that changed it. I'd love to have him change it to Thursday.”
You can read the article here:

Conclusion: No one know's where he's going. Let's just wait til Friday. Regardless, OSU even getting in the game is an accomplishment by itself. Just wait til Meyer has a whole year to recruit kids, in addition to having them visit when there are actual games.
The video of the Maryland crowd chanting "Stephan!...Diggs!" is pretty strong. What is not strong is a basketball arena that is about 40% full.
