i dont think this is drama. He hasn't been malicious with anything like pryor ("state college is too country"). So what if he has delayed his signing. Non-football players don't have to decide where they're going to school for another couple of months, why is it necessary that just because they play football they have to decide Feb. 1?
he can act like ths all he wants in the offseason. You can bet your ass that if he chooses tOSU, UFM is going to make sure he understands its team first, you last. Let him have his fun. He is a teenager. We are all different. Can't lump him into a drama-lover and saying that you do not want him now. You have to remember who we have at the helm of tOSU and what he IS GOING TO DO to the incoming freshman. Especially with the upper classmen's help. I am fine with it. I do agree he is messing with people (or so it seems) with clandestine tweets, but its twitter man. Twitter is a joke. I make fun of that troll-sized orange traffic barrel Snooki and the Shrek-twin, long lost sister khloe kardash because their tweets are so outrageously stupid.

I'm with Dubjay, let the kid have his "fun" he's a teenager, and really if people would calm themselves and read into things we wouldn't have 20 Diggs threads right now. He announces Friday, just wait until then.

1.) There are tons of Diggs threads, no need to make a new one everytime he or someone tweets something new. Add to what we have.

I'm 18 and I can tell you if I was the best football prospect remaining to sign and I had 200 'insiders' following me on twitter talking about every word I say I'd be doing this exact same thing. it's too funny. he's just having some fun, don't worry about it.

The kid is just having fun. Let him have his day.

I think its ok to be disappointed with how hes handling it now but turn and welcome him if he commits to us. Especially with all the recent memories of our last commit who soaked up every ounce of the process, I get why some dont like the "look at me" approach. But i agree that hes just a kid and to let him have his moment.

For quite some time the date of his announcement has been set for the 10th. Seriously, everything he tweets gets scruitinzed like crazy. Folks need to just chill out and wait til Friday. I would bet it's not going to be Maryland at this point.
It's amazing how many people are drawing conclusions about what kind of person he is just because he's fooling around with everyone. I want the guy on the Buckeyes, and I don't care if he waits till the last possible minute to commit. Ya know why? Urban wants the guy. Get him on this team, he's a special talent, and while the class is loaded, you can never have too much talent.
I'm bias. I fully admit it. TP was a horrendous situation & this kid seems much of the same. Would obvioulsy be happy to have him ... but lordie, fear-the-baggage.
Don't forget that "TP-type kids" are what they are because of the fans. I just hate all of this heat towards Diggs for something we've created by showing so much fascination into his recruitment.

TP wasn't the only player to screw the Buckeyes over. He is just the only one who drug out the recruiting process. Are we going to discount players from Janette too because Pryor and Hall have broken rules? Should we be cautious of anyone from Princeton High School because Posey effed up 2 times?
I don't know, like I said if Urban wants him, I'm good with that. He has quit pursuing 2 other players because of red flags about the kids. We could've used both Neal and Diamond, but they weren't cut out for the program because of off the field issues. If Urban is still after Diggs, I think it's a good thing, despite what the kid puts on Twitter.
Fans contribute by fueling his fire with the attention he desires but humility is a trait that is taught. You don't just have it and not everyone is born with it. where are the Barry Sanders in the world and why aren't they idolized more than folks like T.O or Ochowateverhisnameisthisweek? I welcome talent on this team but if this behavior continues after enrollment, he will be my least favorite Buckeye on the team for as long as he remains. If he signs elsewhere I will not be one of those fans that say I didn't want him, but I also might feel like one of the surviving passengers of Final Destination, happy I missed the flight.

Agree @BHardy! The way Diggs has handled this whole situation has made me like him a whole lot more. He 100% knows that people are obsessing over his announcement and he's playing with them. If I was a top national recruit, I'd do the exact same thing, and get a kick out people eating up every scrap I gave them. Diggs in the scUM jacket was hilarious! Soo many people were questioning "What does that mean?" Umm.. it means you need to get a life! imo

Hell yes Louie. I would rather have a kid with a sense of humor than some kind of automaton droid. These kids are making a decision about where and with whom they spend the next four years of their lives. Let them take as long as they want. They don't owe me a damn thing, and they sure as hell don't owe a coach who makes 4 million a year and an athletic department that grosses 118 million a year a damn thing. Watching Terrelle Pryor was a treat, and we were all lucky to have him. The kid played his heart out. Let this Diggs kids have fun if he wants. Would you rather have Jim McMahon, showing his ass to the camera, or some kind of scUM grad like yes man like Brady?
Had to laugh when I saw this in the forum this morning as the author just the prior evening in another Diggs thread said, "I seriously cant read anymore about this it is absolutely rediculous - Let me know when he commits. Untill then I'm off the forum". Not laughing at you Failtothevictors only with you. We all want info on what this kid may do and it kind of draws you in. If we find something we want everyone to see it in case anyone has any inside dirt to get a leg up. We can't help it. Help us all.

I don't think he's coming to the Bucks (no proof- just personal belief), but I really hope he does. He's a tremendous talent.
The games and the back and forth don't bother me; he's an 18 year old kid being treated like a God. Nobody, I mean nobody, goes through that well. Maybe its a sign of his personality, but honestly at 18 he barely HAS a personality. Much of what he'll be will depend on how he is treated/mentored/coached when he arrives at whatever school he chooses.
The problems with TP started with TP, but as much as I love Tressel the molly-coddling of TP had more to do with what ended up being a major problem than TP's personality coming in. I don't think Urban Meyer will coddle the same way, but frankly I don't really know.
Give me the talent on the Bucks and I'll be happy. I'm gonna let Urban worry about any personality or ego issues. He gets paid the big bucks.
He is 18 years old let him have some fun. A lot of good hardworking athletes with no character issues tweet ALOT. Says nothing about him as a person. Remember this is the biggest decision of his life up to this point I would encourage all of these kids to not make a decision until they are sure. Remember the reason these kids have maybe gotten some what carried away in their announcements is because we as fans enable it and watch anyway. It is pretty hypocritical to be all over message boards seeking info on these kids then chide them for enjoying the publicity. Stepping off my soap box just FWIW. However he ends up choosing to do his announcement heres to hoping the last hat on his head is scarlet and grey!
