Read a pretty good article about receiver Devin Smith and how he runs track in the offseason. It also talks about how Urban Meyer is in favor of his athletes playing other sports to improve their athleticism (i.e. Jeff Demps at Florida) compared to how there were rarely two-sport athletes under Tressell. Overall, it's a good read. Really shows how great of a work ethic Smith has. I think he'll be our best receiver next year.

I think people are overlooking Devin Smith as a potential weapon. Although, I do not believe he is a Percy Harvin type due to his bigger frame, I fully believe a kid who can run a 10.5 100m dash, jump 7ft in the high jump and almost 25 feet in the long jump could be a dynamic threat. Remember, this kid is a football player first and foremost, not a track star playing football.
I look for Urban to use Devin Smith similar to how Ted Ginn was used by Tress. Only I believe that smith is a better natural receiver than Ted Ginn was.
Being a 2-sport athlete IMO is great for football players especially when its track, no matter way to stay in shape than train as a sprinter.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
It was good to see he's doing football workouts in the morning as well as the track workouts. Sounds like a good, dedicated kid with a strong desire to compete and win. I definitely expect him to be one of the "playmakers" this season.
