Per Billy it is true
Well that was unexpected. And awesome.
This is a nice get for Coach Meyer & staff. This young man is gonna be an excellent player. Hopefully #'s 4 & 5 come soon. Congratulations on becoming a Buckeye Billy as BUCKEYENATION IS THE PLACE TO BE!
Shendig
OT?
Offensive tackle.
Thanks, I meant, I thought he was a DT all the way,
EDIT: and now it says OT/DT
I thought he projected more as a guard from what I read about him. But I'm sure Alex will enlighten us.
He will be a DT I believe....same mold as John Simon
Rivals and Scout say DT, 247 says both, ESPN says OT.
He's putting weight onto his frame, so definitely not as agile in pursuit as Simon. Can definitely blow people up off the line though.
5.01 40 would be slow for a OT. Has to be DT.
He showcases more skill on the defensive side of the ball imo, I agree with Alex.
awesome! thanks for posting
Actually thats pretty fast for an offensive lineman. Offensive lineman rarely run under 5.0. Just look at last years NFL combine, only two offensive lineman ran under 5.0 and they were both undersized centers. Generally speaking most d-lineman ran faster 40 times than Offensive lineman, which makes sense because D-line play is more reactionary and D-lineman have to make up for the inherent disadvantage of not knowing when and where a given play is called for.
Same mold as John Simon? That's a damn good mold.
Edit: That word mold was bothering me after I posted so I looked it up. Correct term is mould.
haha thanks Northbrook.....but yes same type of player as Simon (high motor, good lower body strength, relentless, etc)
@Northbrook: Mold vs. mould.
@Anononym, I should have looked closer. Thanks.
I should have known both Alex and I couldn't be wrong.
I know Eric Moulds???
Any news from Eli Woodard visit?
I thought Alex said we contact him once he get back home?
Euro-
Look at the Eli Woodard thread
Eli had a GREAT visit.....will talk to Woodard when he's ready (hoping tonight)
Michigan fan on CBS Sports message board says Price is a "headcase" who will fit in well with Urban Meyer @ OSU. Not sure what thats supposed to mean, sounds like a typical Michigan fan comment to make when something good happens to OSU.
Anyone know if Price actually is a "headcase" or if, as I assume, this Michigan fan is full of crap?
By all accounts and interviews I've ever seen, Billy Price is a very solid kid. Your assumption was correct. F*** scUM
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
I know that he's a 16 - 17 year old kid, so anyone claiming to have his personality already labeled depite the fact he's smack in the middle of the one of the most developmentally unstable and uncertain times in a kid's life is probably a "headcase" himself. As we proved with Neal, I don't think we would be offering him if he was a sincere troublemaker.
amen to that, welcome aboard billy!!!
Alex, who would you compare Price's style of play to? Is he like Schutt at all or more like Williams?
If by "headcase" he means... acting like a crazy man out on the field who will stop at nothing to destroy the man in front of him and the ball-carrier... then I am all for that kind of "headcase."
"What we do in life echoes in eternity"
Is anybody else surprised Billy mentioned Taco and Butt specifically? Are they high on the list of the staff's targets? I had assumed they weren't.

just a quick pitch to recruit other top talents in the state. LOVE IT!!!!!
now to get back to work... DAMNIT!!!!!
Billy is not a "head case" and in fact is really grounded.......I think Price's motor is like John Simon's...he's a little bigger but I think you will see a similar type player to Simon
I think of Tim Anderson when watching his film.
It's a scUM fan saying he's a "headcase," so I wouldn't take that too seriously. They just like to talk...
"Michigan fan on CBS Sports message board says Price is a "headcase".... Of course the Michigan fans will say that ! After all wasn't Billy on the Michigan guest list rooting and tweeting for the BUCKEYES? YES HE WAS......so they are mad....He will be a great asset to "THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY".....
