I gotta say I'd be on board with the proposals mentioned in this. The atmosphere at home games is unlike any other as it is, just imagine The Shoe in December against Bama. And moving the title games up should help accomodate 2 teams playing 2 postseason games.

The only problem would be the road team's fans not getting an equal chance to see the game. At BCS bowls (and all bowls, for that matter) they pretty much split up the tickets evenly between the fan bases. I'd hate not getting a chance to see the Buckeyes if they were, say, a #3 seed.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
I think this would be essential if there were to be a tournament. Good luck selling two neutral site games on the opposite side of the country.
Playing the big games during a regular weekday has proved a failure. something needs to be done... Playoff would be nice IMO
O H I O is the Buckeye State
You heard it here first: If we get to a playoff system, the ACC and SEC will demand the games be played at neutral sites (such as Detroit or Indy) so they can play in domes instead of having to deal with the cold.
Beauty of football = cold weather. My Junior year I played a team from NewPort New, VA. ( I went to Washington and Jefferson in PA). They had to travel up North, and that day was close to 16 degrees, and they were all huddled around each other with tons of gear on, and then you have my team with sleeveless shirts. Yes it is an advantage (as we won and held the nations leading rusher of 218yds/game to 95 late in the fourth quarter), but the higher seed deserves to be playing at home, IMO.
good memories. good memories. :)
