Urban just addressed this on the radio. He said all he did was ask if the players were interested in Ohio State. If they said yes, then he would try to talk to them about it. If they said no then he left them alone. Don't see anything particularly wrong with this because if Urban had been here for longer then the odds are he would have had these conversations before players were committed.
Someone fax Bielema a copy of recruiting rules. He doesn't seem to have a firm grasp.
he's just mad that Urban got first crack at the Nickelback tickets and he really wanted them. Urb told him he was giving them to the 40 year old cashier at Kroger in C-Bus

Hey, Bielema, you snuck 5 players out of Ohio last year, and 3 the year before that. You made it to back-to-back Rose Bowls, first with a 2-star nobody recruit Scott Tolzien, and then a graduate student 1-off transfer Russell Wilson, and a slew of 2 and 3-star OL recruits that are magically transformed into 350 lbs behemouths, and a walk-on WR that didn't even have a scholarship. Your overachieving football team beat what was probably the most explosive offense Tressel ever had while they were ranked #1.
And this year you try to take the top O-line recruit out of Ohio, and call Ohio State's new coach coach a cheater when you can't close? You don't own Ohio, it's not your f'ing playground, you are not the king of this fort. You're f'ing Wisconsin. This is f'ing Ohio State. Don't let the cheese wheel get lodged in your *ss while you roll back down the hill.

I have zero thoughts of regret for Bielema, particularly in regards to issues involving class, gentlemans agreements or integrity. Bitch was going for two against Minny up a gazzilion late in the fourth..."That's what the chart said..."

Wah! Ever consider the fact that the only reason Pittman decided to go to MSU in the first place is because Dantonio took advantage of OSU’s vulnerability (Fired Coach, NCAA investigation…)? The kid is from OHIO! He never would have even considered MSU had it not been for all of the uncertaintee in Columbus, and now we’re supposed to feel SORRY for a guy who thought he could capitalize on the Buckeye’s misfortune?! Cry me a river!
MSU had 24 players on their 2011 roster who were from the state of Ohio! OSU has 1 player on their roster from the state of Michigan! No one feels sorry for you, accept….YOU! If you don’t like the way Urban recruits then all I can say is; you’d better get used to it Sparty!

Don't much care for Bielema or Wisconsin. Isn't this the same guy who put over 80 points up against Indiana a couple years back? I got no problem with a guy who wins convincingly but this dude's been a straight up bully. And an arrogant bully at that. Now he has issues with us taking an Ohio kid, who obviously wanted to be here anyway, back from him? And I wonder when he recruited Dodson if he spoke poorly of tOSU by mentioning the violations...all's fair brother. You can't start sobbing just because you're the one on the the losing end of an ass kicking. If don't like losing to tOSU - here's to hoping your feelings about our staff only get worse from here.

In all seriousness - now they are tattling to commissioners because they lost a kid in a recruiting battle. That is flat out sad. And Bully-ma of all wcoaches... REALLY? Being butthurt is one thing - trying to intentionally jeopardize our program over it a whole other thing entirely. Your mad? coach the kids you have and win on the field. In the end - he's only hurting himself here by making himself look like a 6 year old child who did not get his way.

Okay, so Bielema said Coach Meyer's tactics were "illegal", which is a pretty serious accusation. When his accusations are proven false, could Coach Meyer go after him for slander or something?

One thing for sure - Urban had other coaches as enemies in the SEC (Kiffin, Richt) and now he has them in the B1G.
The one school that should cry about Urban is Penn State since Urban pillaged their recruiting class. Only taking 1 guy (who would have been Buckeyes if the whole Tat Gate mess didn't go down) doesn't warrant the crying from Whineconsin and MSU coaches.
I think Bill O'Brien was a reach but at least you can respect him for not crying. (That might be because he doesn't care about his current job yet and still focused on his old one)

The B1G needs this. Some of the coaches and programs have been too lazy for too long, and it shows in reputation and perception.
