Had a chance to talk to Derrick real quickly after Michigan offered him today. It's his 17th offer after receiving one from USC at the end of last week.
He said that he doesn't have a top five, and that he has not yet been able to really break down who will get his official visits, but did tell me it was safe to assume that Ohio State would be getting one of them.
When he posted that he received an offer from Michigan, he had a few Buckeye fans who had posted on his status, nothing overt but an a few inocuous "Go Buckeyes" type statements that were met with some negative responses from him his friends, and I asked him about his friends not liking Ohio State that much.
"Definitely, and that's on them, but I have always been a Buckeye fan!"
He also said that he would be attending the spring game on April 21st.
Anyway, nothing too crazy or earth-shattering, but figured you guys would like a little update on Derrick.

I think if Urban wants him he's all Buckeye.
Add him and another scat back into the 2013 class and we're set at running back.
Urban wants him, don't worry about that.
Green will make Ohio State one of his 5 official visits
Thanks, Gene, that's what I said in my post.
Oh sorry lol I skimmed through the post missed that part :P
According to Rivals, Green runs a 4.37 40? Thats very impressive for a 215 lber with his body frame...impressive for anybody actually

Would love to see a stud don the #27 again.. Let the "Der-rick! Der-rick! Der-rick!" chants begin!
BrOhioGate - if you're not wasted, the day is.
@Upnorth. Green consistently runs in the upper 4.3s now. I'll post the article which discusses his switch from D-Line to RB after his freshman year.
