PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE

Douglas and Heater are the two names people seem to mention most right now. As far as I know, it's purely speculation at this point.
Seems like it. Just wanted to share the info. I guess I would prefer Heater only because I have heard he is a better recruiter. Either way, I am sure Urban will make a better call than I would.
Do you think either of those guys will leave the DC position to just coach DBs?
I have my doubts, but who knows. I'm sure it will largely depend on the money. Of course, Urban could surprise us with somebody none of us are expecting...
Urban has been very good at picking his staff, most have Ohio ties. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets another Ohio guy!
DB coach at OSU is > DC Coordinator at a MAC level school, especially since the Co-DC (Withers) will probably not be around for very long.
Brandon Castel looks at the possible candidates for the job, on the top of the list of course is Chuck Heater. Troy Douglas 2nd on the list, would be a great fit, I would put Douglas above Heater tho just saying. Douglas has a strong connection with Withers and is available. Teryl Austin, Vance Bedford, Travaris Robinson, and Paul Nichols round out the rest of the list.
I wouldn't mind stealing kerry combs from Cinci. Good recruiting ties to Cinci area, start to seal off that part of the state from the SEC, TSUN, and ND
Combs had some great teams at Colerain. Would be nice to get a foot in the door at a program like that.
how about Richard McNutt? (former OSU player, grad asst. and college and NFL)
