The thing about Danielson is that I think he is the best color analyst in the business, by far, with Blackledge a distant second - which makes it all the more unfortunate that he has become such a shill for the SEC. It wasnt always that way, though; in fact, he was the color guy for the monumental 2002 mich-osu game. maybe someday he will leave the sec and come back to reality.
I got the hiccups from laughing so hard, plus scUM doesn't have to play Wisky again this year. In fact, UW is not on scUM's schedule in 2103 or 2014.
There are experts in the college football world with brains. I've always enjoyed Danielson's commentary. He's 100% dead on. I'm not sure anyone is hyping MSU that much because they do lose quite a bit as far as I know. But Michigan - need I say more? The stage was set for them to win 10 - weak schedule, OSU in scandal, down overall level of college football, officials in their back pockets again (especially Sugar Bowl replay officials). Rich Rod sadly could've done just as well. When Alabama beats them by 3 TDs next year, the 4 letter won't be able to overhype them anymore.

It seems fairly obvious to everyone EXCEPT Michigan fans. They truly believe they will beat Alabama. One season, heavily tilted in their favor, and they're world beaters. They are becoming the most irrational fans in college football. Guess starving for relevancy again will do that.

The "domers" haven't been relative in 20+ years yet every single pre season is filled with bravado and arrogance. Still waiting for those 4* to live up to the hype and a coach that doesn't soil himself season after season, they're by far the most irrational. As far as whose up and coming in the irrationality fracas, I would lay odds on Penn State fans. Were it not for the occasional tweet or blurb from deep within Happy Valley you'd swear teh interwebs hadn't reached there as of this post.
Danielson is turrible. He's quickly becoming on par with Dan Fouts.
How many Michigan Freshman does it take to change a lightbulb? None. That's a sophomore level class.
