David Perkins -Official Visit-

David Perkins (LB from South Bend) is taking an official visit to OSU this weekend, and it looks like things are going pretty damn well. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he commits before his visit is over. If you haven't seen his tweets yet, check it out here: http://twitter.com/StudntOfDaGame. I've never seen a recruit tweet so much about a visiting a program he wasn't committed to.

He also runs a 4.4 and is considered an "athlete". According to several services he could play any position on the field. Fast LBs=SEC type defense? With Shazier, Grant, and him...:)

Another good weekend for visits..... Any chance we get a rundown at the end of the weekend for all of the visits? The Eleven Warriors crew has spoiled us with recruiting news... thanks guys!

Also I am okay with him keeping his nickname, otherwise I am going to miss yelling "BOOOOOOM" with Herron gone. In fact I think it would be a nice tradition to always have one player either offense or defense with that nickname.

Just saw the video, Flip. This kid is being recruited as LB? Looks to me like he could play RB or WR with that kind of speed. Of course, I realize we need LBs. Looks like quite an athlete, regardless of where he plays.

The only source I saw about Williams was on Bucknuts. So it wasn't an official report.

So Perkins just tweeted that he ran a 4.22 on the track. Obviously not really easy to compare to the combine times, but holy smokes. Can't wait for the speed we're getting.
