Does anybody think that he may be saying that he grew up poor, had no money, etc. and now he has money to eat, pay for an apartment, and network for post college life?
I'm just saying...this may be what he was referring to, maybe just not stated the best way he could.

No matter how sh*tty the tour is, it's always tough to leave.
I'm with Chief ^^^ on this. I hope Clemson is abiding by the rules, as I hope everybody does. If this is the case, he sounds like a guy that is grateful to have had the opportunity to play at Clemson, and would want to stick around for his teammates. Not just go out and make the money. Major athletics could use a lot more gratefulness in general.
