OH S/LB Bam Bradley is the other main contender to fill that safety spot (if there is one) in the class. Bam is deciding between Ohio State, Pitt, and Stanford and will likely wait until signing day to make his choice. If I had to guess, I would say that Urban Meyer is waiting to see how the pieces fall elsewhere in the class, but if he gives the green light for Bradley he will be a Buckeye- unless the slow play doesn’t sit well with him.

I think Bradley is using OSU as a backup. Boo!
So, I'm guessing Demetrious Cox is the other contender?
Is Bam visiting this weekend?
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
@Bass Yes, Cox is the other player
@BJ Not this weekend, only visits that are confirmed for this weekend are Cox and Marcus.
You don't think theres any chance he goes to Pitt with his brother there?
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
I think he was orginally torn between Stanford and Pitt leading up to the all-star game at the beginning of January, but now he's realizing that OSU is his best choice. Yes, his brother is at Pitt and it'd be neat to go through the college experience playing football with your brother on the team and convenient for his mother and family to come watch their games. But in the end it is his decision, and comparing OSU vs. Pitt is like comparing kobe beef to sirloin. Especially for a Safety --- OSU in "Defensive Back U." Plus, his brother may not end up sticking at Pitt with the new coaching staff and may transfer to a school back in Ohio, (MAC). His 1/2 brother, Chris Wright, plays for the Golden State Warriors and I'm sure this has a lot to do with his choice of Stanford as a finalist, but there's no guarantee Wright will still be with Golden State for the next 3 years, let alone 2 or 1. The lifespan for a player on the same NBA team's roster is not long. Obiously, Stanford is a terrific academic institution and this is something to consider. But, ultimately, my gut tells me he was torn between those two schools, & after thinking it over, coupled with the sky-high momentum by Urban Meyer's recruiting this month....he'll end up a Buckeye.

not to be a dick or anything..but..Genestarwind...do you work for the 11W or something or just really bored? I appreciate what you are trying to do with the recruiting but i feel like we should just let Alex do all the reporting and not have conflicting reports
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
I'm not even gonna answer that because some other guy tried to get into with me about this. I'm sharing information. That is all. If 11W has an issue with it, I'm sure they would tell me. But I'm being thoughtful is all. Sorry if that bothers you.
First time posting here but I've been using this site for months now for all my Buckeye inside info. Alex is the best, no doubt. But, at the same time, I definitely appreciate (as I'm sure Alex does, by the way) other posters like Genestarwind that include information they read on Twitter, blogs, or other sites that maybe Alex hasn't seen yet or hasn't had time to write about. Either way, love this site and can't wait to see this recruting class take its final form! Go Bucks!
Genestar: Keep posting. I saw the other post as well, I just think sometimes you are unintentionally implying that you have insider information. If you said things like "I think" or "it seems to me" or something else along those lines then people wouldn't get confused and try to call you out. Just my two cents. I like reading everyone's thoughts, so don't stop posting.
BuckeyeBrowny get where you're coming from, but anyone who has info can share it...just don't take anything as fact because as people know not every source you get it from is right....the forums are here for all of us to share info...I am trying to share with you what I get first hand from recruits or from people close to the situation....everyone else please share what you find in these forums (they are really becoming a fun way to pass the time by!) but make sure you try to say where you're getting the info from, so that:
a) credit is given where credit is due
b) people know to take it for what it's worth depending on the source/site
All Buckeyes here.....no fighting
Hey GeneStarwind, I have to say i appreciate the info you post on here and look forward to some more. (cant get enough) same goes for 11W crew and any others that have offered info.
This site ROCKS keep it up
O H I O is the Buckeye State
I agree stop discouraging genestarwind it's all family in here Go Bucks!!!
Hardly home but always reppin
genestar has interesting stuff. If one doesn't like his posts, it is easy not to read them.
Big game tonight fellows
Bru
cant we all just get along, no need to bash other buckeye fans for information that one provides
Whoooooa gentlemen...relax I promise I was being sincere and just posting my personal thought...not an ill bone in my body..enjoy the game tonight fellas
Legit, once again I was actually bein sincere about the time you put in
"Winter is coming" - Urban Meyer
Thanks guys, it's glad to see people don't have a problem with my posts. Sorry if I came off wrong to anyone.
Give credit where credit is due Gene, glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. It isn't hard and helps validate good information.
I do have a problem with you claiming info as your own, which you do when you don't say "per..." or "so and so is reporting ". You aren't an insider, reporter, or analyst. That's not bashing, that's how the world works. Give credit to the people whose job it is to come up with info.
And if you won't, I'll go through and post the actual source on everything you don't cite. I follow the same guys on Twitter that you get your info from and have no problem giving them credit. They deserve it, just like when BuckeyeGrove and 11w had a spat over who had the Urban stuff first. You have to give credit in the world of sports for insider info. Again not bashing.
Why do you have to, Tim? This is a free blog, not the NYTimes. Relax on the citing sources thing. Who cares anyhow? If I get the info I want, so be it.
I really wish every time I looked at this "Bam Bradley" thread, that the new messages would actually be about Bam Bradley...
I think Tiny Tim is pms'ing lol keep up the good work Gene, even Alex appreciates it!
With all due respect to everyone. I'm sure 11W would love additional traffic to the site with additional membership. I found it and thought it to be one of if not THE best informational sites for OSU sports. When new people come and see all of this bickering it will drive them away and they will look elsewhere for their information. Lets get back to the topic at hand and the rest you guys can take "offline"
What a story Tim, back to Buckeye sports. How about that bashing OSU gave Nebraska tonight?
Wow you all need to grow up. You saw what happened today with CBSports and not citing Onward State. Why can't you "adults" act like adults? CBS got smashed today for not citing them and the managing editor of Onward stepped down. It's seriously not that much to ask for and I'm not sure why you guys are so mad that I ask for it.
I know its ESecPN and I cant finish reading the article cause im not an insider but from just the title...

Gene- Here is a site that I used frequently in college for any "Works Cited" page I had to put together, which you should utilize and attach to EACH one of your posts: http://www.easybib.com/ Even if it's your own opinion, I want to know that it's coming from you!
HAHA Keep it up man. Go Bucks!
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
As Alex has pointed out, if Bam wants in, Meyer will take him. But, the interesting thing with Bam is that more than any other recruit, it may be more about his H.S. ties than anything else. Gotta say though, now that Cam Burrows (from the same H.S., five star recruit class of 2013) committed to OSU, I wonder if Urban took his foot off the pedal some. Also keep in mind that suddently Demetrious Cox goes from out of the picture to likely our next commit and this turnaround seems to coincide with Burrows announcement.
Long way of saying that OSU's recuitment of Bam Bradley may have been more about Burrows than Bradley, or at least more than we had originally thought.
@Kylegratz
That article from ESPN Insider says "Stanford still leads for Bradley" He said he likes the Southwest because you can walk to class without it being 5 degrees outside. He said he still plans on visiting Arizona or Michigan State. The article then says his list is, in order, Stanford, Pitt, Ohio State, and that it appears to be a three team race.
Seems Stanford has shown the most interest in him.
http://espn.go.com/blog/stanford-football/post/_/id/5668/stanford-recruiting-roundup-18
I think with the recent swing in interest from Cox, Bradley has kind of fallen by the wayside.
I think Stanford has to be the biggest threat right now....just doesn't seem right to OSU, but Cam Burrows will recruit him to come, trust me on that
Alex the Trotwood pipeline aside if you had to choose between Bam or Cox who would you pick? And why something you saw on film, speed, playmaker
So I guess this one is settled. Moving on...
Geeez, I had to think about that one for a minute... I would like to blame my cold meds on that one if I could.
