Courtney Love makes it official, he's a Cornhusker
If the class ends up to be arond 18-20 this would be the guys I would want for the rest of the class.
QB: No more QB's taken
RB: Derrick Green
TE: Huermen
WR: Gibson, Quick
OL: Pocic, maybe another but don't know who
DL: Bosa
LB:1 more not sure who urban wants tho
DB: I want Cravens but probably won't get him Maybe Bell, but if we don't get one I don't think its a big deal with the DB's we have already
If we get 2 more OL, and another DB that makes 20 recruts, I hope he doesn't take another QB and I hope we take Green but I think he likes the RB's we have so I woudn't be surprised if he doesn't take him. I just really hope meyer gets Poic. Bosa and huermen seem to be locks, so that could put us up to 13 real soon, not to many slots left at most probably 7 and we have 10 months till signing day class could fill up really fast.
Alex Anzalone full 5 min video release: http://scoutingpa.com/index.php/view-profile.html?task=userProfile&user=496&srid=373&name=alexanzo
Jalin Marshall full 11 min video release: http://scoutingohio.com/index.php/view-profile.html?task=userProfile&user=5714&srid=9488
Tracy Sprinkle full 5 min video release: http://www.scoutingohio.com/index.php/view-profile.html?task=userProfile&user=4628&srid=9628
BOSA!!!!
Really need to focus on the offense now. LOVE the defensive commits, though Bell or Cravens would be insanely perfect additions, but the O is hurting for outside playmakers. Need Quick, Gibson/Foster, maybe another serious player. Looks really good, though. This is kind of insane. Plus there is still FNL in July to see. Oh my. Look out, B1G. Be very afraid. Very, very, afraid.
Don't think FNL will have much of an impact on whoever is left for 2013, its greater impact will be on the 2014 class.
@GSW,
What recruiting rankings are you using for this thread? I see you have both Marshall and Burrows listed as 5* but I can't find a major recruiting service that lists BOTH as 5*. If you are just choosing whichever service has our prospect rated the highest (which is fine with me btw) you might want to list Bosa as a 5* since Scout has rated as such.
GSW, I understand the list in order of acceptance, but now that we're filling up, it would be nice to see it by position if possible. Everyone is talking about the needs by position and this would make it easier to visualize. Feel free to ignore if I'm the only idiot that thinks this is a good idea. :)
Nevermind
@Saturday
I don't go off of Scout, I use 247 and Rivals and go off which site has the prospect highest
@MajBucksFan
I understand completely, but this is mainly a thread for all the kids that hold a OSU offer, that's all it's about, maybe I can add footnotes.
Levenberry to FSU...strike up tbdbitl
I think Hoke is 0 for 5 in the most recent 50/50 announcements. Can't say I'm not disappointed, but hope he does well. It was a Major that FSU offered that Michigan doesn't that seemed to be the tie breaker. Wonder if Hoke is second guessing the decision telling other linebackers to cancel their visits?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
@hail I didn't really follow his recruitment that much. But wasn't it always assumed by most national recruiting guys that Levenberry was all FSU? Just curious
I'm just glad that scUM didn't have room for Anzalone.
Back in feb/march Levenberry was all Michigan. Not sure what happened but he may have been turned off by the Gedeon commitment?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Farrell @ rivals said FSU all along...levenberry, himself, even told him that Michigan was his leader a couple months ago. He spent a big chunk of his spring break down there and loved it. I really think they were dead even and FSU offering the computer criminal justice degree program (michigan doesn't have one) pushed him there. Or maybe the hunnies?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
Mike Farrell made an enemy of a lot of Michigan fans by picking FSU despite all evidence indicating that he was going to UM. Hail I'm glad to see you handling it so maturely- I went over to MGo and was shocked at some people's comments. I'm sure you guys will replace him with a great linebacker (if you even want more).
Yeah, he's a good kid. Similar situation to Garnett who choose Stanford last year. I would be surprised if Michigan pursues another LB this year. We have two very good ones, as is, so unless an elite guy shows interest, that will be it.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
Dymonte Thomas considerinig early enrollment to Michigan.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
No matter what anyone said, even on this site, I never thought we would flip Dymonte. Once he went up north he has been raving the entire time and recruiting. Recruiters don't bring in big names then flip. Just will not happen. I wrote him off my list in january....
It happened at Penn State with Cam Williams, but chalk that up to extenuating circumstances. I am down to about 2% on Dymonte, but until I hear he has shut the door on Urban I will go ahead and hang onto that 2%.
If we get Vonn Bell, who is very high on tOSU right now, I wont miss Thomas quite as much.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
I think the backlash Dymonte and other Ohio kids who have committed to Michigan have received from OSU fans is enough to make them not want to even listen to Ohio State. The animosity and venom of this rivalry is enough to make a kid want to choose a side and stay there. The door may is not completely closed on Dymonte and OSU till signing day, but I can't see him decommitting now, especially since he wants to graduate early and get to Um ASAP. It seems pretty safe to say the ship has sailed and we all need to move on.
Gray- I agree. If we get Bell I would feel better about not having Thomas.
IMO Thomas isn't even on the same page as V.Bell so if we get Bell they can keep Thomas ... btw I think Thompson is going to be VERY good longer frame can add weight, and the kid is super fast and has no quit in him ...
Many scouting services say Thompson could be top 5 safety after this year.
Mike Heuerman off the board, committed to Notre Dame. Josh McNeil is back in the picture. Offered ATH Jalen Reeves-Maybin.
DE/LB Lewis Neal decommited from Ohio State, I think the LSU offer interested him
Added DE Jonathan Allen to the list of offers
Odd offer, I know hes a good player but hes a DE and I dont think he's headed to the state of alabama
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Yeah but he's only 225 and they're saying 4.5 speed. He could easily translate into a pass rushing LB.
By my count, there are 16 D linemen on the board and only 6 O linemen. Can't help but think it should be the other way around.
Could be the Neal replacement at VIPER or OLB
Interesting article about Allen: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/recruiting-insider/post/stone-bridge-dl-jonathan-allen-a-two-time-all-met-and-top-recruit-says-final-list-is-now-at-five/2012/05/03/gIQAVeAazT_blog.html
To summarize, he had OSU in his top 5 hours before the reported offer, apparently some people close to him are favoring that offer.
Jonathan Allen's dad is in the military and they moved around a lot. Allen was born in ALA and always liked the Tide but his dad was born in Ohio and is a big buckeyes fan, FWIW.
I didn't quite see 4.5 speed in his highlight tape but he is definitely mobile enough to play an outside LB (would be perfect in Bama's 3-4). He's definitely a stud, and even though I don't have him rated as high as someone like Jason Hatcher on my board, it'll be very interesting to see how this one plays out.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Added LB Yannick Ngakoue to the list of offers today
Anzalone decommits, removed from list as well as Lewis Neal from the list of offers
Added CB Maurice Smith to the list of offers
Added WR Demorea Stringfellow, CB Jordan Smith & DT Deadrin Senat
go bucks
Unofficial Visit for DE Jonathan Allen this weekend
Is Derwin Gray really on the radar? I haven't heard anything about the Buckeyes recruiting him.
Derwin Gray's recruiting is quiet, at least for OSU, not really recruiting him hard, I think Auburn, Florida, Florida St, & Maryland have the best shot at landing Gray at this time.
DE Jonathan Allen canceled his visit to Ohio State this weekend
Revoved LB Peter Kalambayi & ATH Michael Parker since Ohio State did not make their cuts for top choices.
Added OL J.P. Vonashek to the list of offers
Ty Isaac off the board, has committed to USC
You should put Anzalone and Neal back on the list, Gene. They still have offers and the staff is still pursuing them (Anzalone at least)
QB Mitch Trubisky commits to UNC, off the board
Jonathan Allen off the board, has committed to Alabama
Elijah Daniel off the board, OSU didnt make his cut, I imagine because of all the beef we already have (Bosa among others in the '12 class) and currently more focused on offense
Ohio State did not make Frank Herrons cut, off the board
Tyquan Lewis from NC will be coming to camp June 9th, he is really underrated.
GoUpstate is reporting DE Tyquan Lewis having an offer from Ohio State, I added him to the list. Visiting June 10th as well.
Greg Gilmore off the list, Ohio State did not make his cut
surprised that lovell peterson is not on the list for akid that wants to come to ohio state being under center for miller should have some merit?
"Give me Liberty, or Give me Death!"
Peterson will probably get an OSU offer this summer if they like what they see from him in camp.
Michigan commit Mike McCray offered by Ohio State today
WR Jordan Cunningham removed from the list, Ohio State did not make his cut to top 5
LB Matt Rolin to South Carolina, off the board
RB Dontre Wilson to Oregon, off the board
Upgraded Vonn Bell to a 5* prospect
His tweets yesterday strongly suggested he's a USC lean, something about committing at the same time as Hutchings to the same school.
It sounds like he's just messing around now. Get him back on campus, and I'll take it seriously
I don't buy into that tweet
Upgraded Derrick Green & Jaylon Smith to a 5*
Neither do I, that's the point. He's pulling strings and getting publicity, and until he actually does something commital, I'll take everything with a grain of salt
Ethan Pocic to LSU off the board
If we can get Jaylon, it'll make me feel better about losing Pocic.
"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
Added WR Paul Harris to the list of offers
Added DB Jamal Carter to the list of offers
Josh McNeil off the board, Ohio State didn't make his top 5. No TEs left on the board. Also removed Uriah LeMay off the board, should commit to Georgia tomorrow.
I feel that with our current TE depth along with Baugh that losing McNeil is not such a big deal.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
Losing Pocic sucked, I really thought he would be a Buckeye, or at least we had the upperhand. But apparently The Madhatter had something up his sleeve.
I know its a long shot but Id love to see Tunsil or Johnson pay a visit.
There is still a long way to go before signing day and a lot of switchs and decommites to recommites to take place. So who knows!
Would love to see DB's Bell and Cravens to join the group as well as Tunsil, Johnson or Rodgers. Gibson would be pretty stout as well! Need some more depth at Reciever!
Pay It Forward!
After Pocic, I don't wanna ask of Gibson is a lock. But I haven't heard anything on him lately, is he still expected to be a buckeye on June 20?
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
@Craftforthesteal
Johnson is visiting OSU June 23rd
That he is, guess I should have looked at the date a little closer! Thanks for the info though.
Pay It Forward!
No problem =D
Removed WR Richard Benjamin, has a top 3 of Clemson, UCF & USF
Maurice Hurst Jr off the board, committed to scUM
Jaylon Smith off the board, commits to Notre Dame
Poggi off the board, will be a Wolverine on Monday
Now Gene, please don't count our chickens just yet.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!
~Bo Schembechler
WR Reggie Davis off the board, commits to Georgia
Removed Ebenezer Ogundeko, has a top 5 of Notre Dame, Arizona State, Syracuse, Florida and UConn, per his coach
DE Isaac Rochell off the board, finally commits to Notre Dame after long speculation
Added:
OT Dennis Finley
WR Isaiah Jones
Removed:
LB Alex Anzalone (Avoiding OSU at all costs)
OG Khaliel Rodgers (Auburn lean)
I wish Anzalone the best of luck in the future, but it's very irritating that he keeps OSU on his list despite appearing to have no interest.
"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
Removed RB Ryan Green, has committed to Florida State
Removed OT Derwin Gray, has committed to Maryland
Removed LB Yannick Ngakoue, committed to Maryland
Removed RB Corey Clement, committed to Pittsburgh
Removed DL DeMarcus Walker, will announce on August 3rd. Ohio State not in the mix for Walker.
Added Khaliel Rodgers back to the list, has delayed his decision to visit more schools, Ohio State still players in this kid.
^^^Glad for this^^^ ... Now we have to get the kid on campus.
gsw, is the staff banking on rodgers / johnson for 2 OL to round out the class? we had a group of eager-to-receive-schollies linemen at the last camp..I remember reading that the staff was going to take a punter before another guard (welsh comes to mind)
Coincidence @hcaz - Welsh to Iowa
Removed:
CB Vernon Hargreaves III (Top 3 of Florida, USF & Miami)
WR Travis Johnson (OSU not in Top 10)
Added WR Levonte Whitfield to the list of offers
Whitfield reminds me of Devin Hester.
Where is Adrian Baker on that list?
vacuuming sucks
Maestro - Baker does not currently hold an offer. Or if he does its a contingent offer depending on if his grades check out.
Thanks
vacuuming sucks
Should know if he gets an offer tomorrow
Removed:
WR Demorea Stringfellow (committed to Washington)
ATH Jalen Reeves-Maybin (Top 3 of Vandy, Tenn & Ole Miss)
Removed:
QB Darryl Richardson
Old staff offered but I don't think that offer is on the table anymore with Urban's staff.
Should Vernon Hargreaves be added back to this list? He is supposed to be visiting OSU this month.
Removed:
WR Isaiah Jones (FSU Verbal)
OL Darius Latham (Wisky Verbal)
Removed:
Khalid Thomas (UK commit)
Jalen Ramsey (Soon to be USC commit)
Khaliel Rodgers (Auburn or USC commit)
based on who's left - i think we take (in order of timing)...
1) mike mitchell - a linebacker...phew
2) tyquan lewis - he's the WDE needed in this class
3) whitfield - another weapon for ufm
4) shelton gibson - we hold true to our initial interest once grades pan out
5) vonn bell - best overall talent, we will hold a spot for him regardless
derrick green goes for traditional offensive scheme, smoke mizzell and james quick stay close to home, dennis finley doesn't fit the bill as an OT, foster doesn't pan out w/ staff...otherwise these guys might sneak in here somehow
I'd tend to agree with this with Whitfield being the only asterick (i.e., I'm not sure about). Everything else seems to be exactly how I feel.
Here's my own best guess:
Mike Mitchell (I wouldn't be surprised to see him move to offense someday)
Ryan Timmons
Vonn Bell
Shelton Gibson
Taquan Mizzell
Lovell Peterson
My guess:
Mitchell
Bell
two of Foster/Gibson/Whitfield/Timmons (whoever commits first)
Finley
And if there's room for another spot, it'll go to Green or Lewis.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Removed:
RB TJ Logan (UNC Commit)
I think we take 3 more, Mitchell, Bell and Foster, and here's why (imho of course):
Right now we are at 79 scholarship players after Klein got the boot. We have 13 seniors (not including Klein) that will be off the scholly books after this year. Let's assume for the sake of argument that Big Hank goes pro. Now we are at 65 scholarships after the 2012/13 season. There will be natural attrition due to grades, personal reasons, depth chart issues, etc. I am guessing 4 players will leave the team, which with the 17 incoming freshman puts us at 78 entering the 2013/14 season. Of course we all know that the 2014/15 season is the last year that we have to be at 82. In my opinion, because of this factor, and with the 2014 class being so ridiculously loaded, we will not go all the way to 82 with the 2013 class, but will bank those 4 open scholarships, along with the 14 seniors that will be graduating, and then natural attrition of 3-4 players, that will allow us to sign anywhere from 19-22 players depending on who does in fact leave, transfer, etc. After the 2013 class signs, we will have solid depth along the o-line, running backs, WR (still need impacts), d-line, defensive backs. We will address linebacker and QB in the 2014 class. Again, this is just my opinion.

Ill go ahead and say we finish out with
Mike Mitchell (16)
Tyquan Lewis (17)
Donovan Munger (18)
James Quick (19)
Vonn Bell (20)
Derrick Green (21)....
Why isnt Munger on the radar up top?
Does Ryan Timmons have an offer or a chance of getting one?
Munger is listed, you must of missed it lol
Timmons probably won't recieve an offer unless something happens with our current targets
oh yeah sorry i missed it... oops... you think munger will play DL over OL?
Thanks much Gene.
No I originally listed him as a DL, wanted to leave it at that. I personally think he will be recruited as an OL by OSU. He can play on both sides of the ball, but I believe he excels more on the DL. I think he will be an OG if he does decide to commit to OSU.
Could any of the 11W recruiting guys put a percentage on Von Bell becoming a Buckeye?
Finish with...
WR: Quick
OT: One of Finley, Johnson, or late flip
OG: One of Munger, Dawson, or late flip
LEO: Lewis
LB: Mitchell
DB: Bell

Added:

OG Timothy Gardner was offered and accepted on the spot, welcome to the family!
Added:
WR Tony Stevens (Soft verbal, wants to visit OSU)
LB Daniel McMillian (Soft verbal, wants to visit OSU)
Assuming (20):
(16) Mitchell
(17) Lewis
(18) Gibson
(19) Munger
(2) late/signing day commits, with maybe a flip or a surprise. Possibly Bell in that group, but think he is a longshot.
Munger seems like he would have been in already if we are geting him, but heard our staff was really coaching him up at FNL. He also gives us an option at OL. I think Quick is a longshot, guys. Will be hard to beat playing near home and getting on the field right away. Strong is also building a nice program.
Can't wait for this 2014 class! Will be a monster!!!
And hey, what is that I hear, only 4 weeks away? Football !!!
Added:
OT Dorian Johnson (PSU decommit)
Cameron Burrows lost his 5th star
why isnt ryan timmons listed as an athlete? matter of fact why isnt timmons listed at all at any position? worley is listed and i am sure timmons is a better player than worley.
Because Timmons doesn't have an offer
Christopher Worley was upgraded to a 4* today by 247
If Foster is no longer being considered, why is he still on the list ?
Good player's make the play's they're suppose to, great player's make the play's they're NOT !!!
In his Top 7, not completely eliminated yet it's highly doubtful he becomes a Buckeye
Removed
CB Jordan Smith (Penn State commit)
CB MacKensie Alexander (Top 4: Bama, Clemson, FSU & Notre Dame)
DE Al-Quadin Muhammad (Top 5: Colorado (no offer), Rutgers, Notre Dame, Michigan & South Carolina
Dear Gene,
We have a lot of people wanting to offer Timmons. Unfortunately, none of us has any real affiliation with The Ohio State University football program (or at least I, personally, don't hold sway in the WHAC).
Is it within your power to give him an official fake offer to satisfy the large pro-Timmons contingent out there? Or maybe put him on the list in italics or transparent letters and say the he "almost" has an offer? It is a thorny issue with no real clear solutions. Or perhaps you could arrange to have Urban Meyer let us do some kind of internet town hall/intervention type of meeting where we all beg him to send Timmons an offer.
Keep on truckin'
Andrew
Thats good humor Yankees. Better watch it though there are some hard nose critics in here. I look forward to watching his game tonight.
He won't recieve an offer IMO unless we lose out on Quick, Gibson and/or Allen. I believe those targets are our priority as of this time. North and Stevens are hanging there but I don't think they will end up Buckeyes but who knows right.
Removed:
OT Dennis Finley (Michigan State commit)
All eyes on Dorian Johnson now, he's the only OL IMO we will take in this class if he wants to be a Buckeye
GSW although may seem obvious, what is the difference between written/verbal ? I am assuming a potential recruit has a written scholarship offer or verbal offer. Who would have the authority to give a verbal offer ? I wonder why a guy like Vonn Bell would not have a written offer. Just a question. Love the updates !!!
I'm sure Vonn has a written, just hasn't been made public. A written offer to me is a committable offer. Basically someone from the staff sends the recruit mail with the actual offer. Verbal offer basically anyone from that staff per Urbans approval, just tells a recruit that they want to offer.
Added
LB Trey Johnson
I saw a tweet from a Rivals writer (whether you respect Rivals or not) that UT is in the lead for Vonn Bell... I hope Urban and the staff roll out the red carpet when he comes in town.
Moved
Tyquan Lewis to list of commits
Added
LB Holland Fisher (VA Tech Soft Verbal)
Thanks for all the work you put into this. I really enjoy all the updates
Seems like we are expanding options at LB. Does this mean something regarding Mitchell or am I reading too much into these offers to other LB (McMillian, Johnson, Fisher)?
Do we actually have a shot at this Sebastian LaRue kid? It's tough for me to see him leave Cali to come to OSU. Urban can do amazing things in recruiting tho!
If Wisconsin beats Nebraska tonight and we beat them next weekend, does Courtney Love start to reconsider?
Great job - thanks a bunch!

I really hope we have a shot at Deon Hollins. He is very good coming off the edge. Absolutely perfect for the "Viper" position.
@GeneSW - So has the Kimbrough offer been confirmed? Because I havnt seen any sites have any articles or anything about it at all.

Added
LB James Hearns (Will visit OSU, being recruited hard by staff) Would be awesome to get him and Daniel McMillan to flip from Florida
Question for someone smarter than me: Does a preferred walk on count towards the overall commitment count?
No sir, he will have to pay his own way at first. He is assured a roster spot but could eventually earn a scholarship. He's not permitted to sign a NLOI.
Removed
Dorian Johnson (Committed to Pitt)
Removed
WR MarQuez North (Not visiting for The Game)
WR Sabastian LaRue (Visit called off by OSU, still being recruited though)
@Gene Thanks for all of your updates. Really amazing information all the time. Can you (or anyone else) elaborate on why a visit might be called off by the school that is still recruiting a guy? I like to over analyze these things, and can't really figure this one out!
They might call it off if they think the recruit is just trying to get a free trip and is not actually serious about the school. The school pays for the trip
Darius Latham committed to Indiana
Added
OT Kenny Lacy
Added
WR Devlin McDaniel to the list of commitments
The guys over at 247 have said that the offer to Richard Benjamin is NOT true FWIW.
So I've heard from multiple sources
Created a map of where the recruits are from. Also tried to ID the states our assistant coaches are assigned to recruit. However, I couldn't find out that much. I Clicked the links to some of the recruiting websites but they don't really do a good job of listing recruiters. I know that Withers is or North Carolina recruiter and Herman covers Texas. Beyond that I saw Warriner listed for a couple of NJ recruits and Hinton listed for a couple of California guys.
The effort is much appreciated! Nice job
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
@Schierbuck. That is awesome, thanks for creating and sharing. Is there a way to hyperlink that map to a bigger map?
@Oregonianbuckeye - Here you go:

And If I take out Baugh it gets a little less cluttered.

Rivals also has a pretty cool map utility which overlays onto Google Maps. You can search commits, prospects with offers etc.. http://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/recruit-s...
@GeneStarwind love this stuff and all your quickbits posts. I see we now have the ability to upvote forum topics so I went back through the past several quickbits and upvoted you on those.
Added
QB Luke Morgan to list of commitments as a preferred walk-on
Added
Gareon Conley to list of commitments
So is the staff going to wait until the class fills out to decide a position for Conley or was he allowed to choose and that was the appealing draw to OSU? Other than the fact that OSU is elite and Urban Meyer is the coach...
They will probably take him as an ATH. My guess is he sticks at CB because we should have more than enough firepower at WR. However, the staff will most likely give him a shot at WR and I can see him playing there if he impresses enough.

No more OL targets left on the board, but there are 2 Wisconsin OL who recieved offers, but both said they have no interest in OSU.
With OL targets completely off the board, does the coaching staff go heavy with defense, or will this open up a potential spot for another offensive playmaker?
I say we make sure that we dont make any reaches. thats for sure. W/ the OL targets all being off the board, banking the schollies for the 2014 class is a good idea UNLESS we can land some top notch talented playmakers & LBs for 2013. 2014 is loaded with top OL that are interested in OSU. We have a need for OL in 2014 & banking a few schollies would help are chances at landing some more OL.

TIMMONS!!!
Added
LS Nick Sharick to list of commits
Removed
Tommy Sanders (Committed to Texas A&M)
Added
OL Dan Skipper
Skipper is a Tenn commit, why do we think he is an OSU target now?
He's trying to set up a visit last I heard
Because we offered and he's a soft commit. We don't think he's one. He is one.
Coaching change @ UT. Looks like he's still taking visits and looking around. Plus he's got an OSU offer.
Added
LB Jake Chestnut to list of commitments (Preferred Walk-On)
Removed
RB David Williams (Dropped OSU from his finalists. I figured OSU wasn't going to bring him in for a visit)
Hey Gene could you make an edit to "Commitments" to show the number of scholarship commits versus the number of preferred walk-on commits? It's not a big deal, it would just make it a tad easier to see how many scholarships we may have available.
How's that?
perfect! thanks man
Great! no problem sir
Added
OL Cameron Hunt
Added
LB Trey Johnson to the list of commitments
Removed
WR Tony Stevens (Committed to TAMU)
WR James Quick (Committed to Louisville)
Added
Mike Mitchell to the list of commitments
I belive Ryan Timmons was removed, is this due to him not having an offer as of yet? or none committable?
He was never on here
Gene's only posted guys that have OSU offers. Timmons still doesn't have an OSU offer, thus he's never been on the list.
Removed
LB James Hearns (Ohio State cancelled his visit)
Changed the status of verbal commitment to signed for JT Barrett, Tracy Sprinkle, Cam Burrows, Eli Apple & Tyquan Lewis
Changed the status of verbal commitment to enrolled for William Houston
Are there really only 6 offers remaining in this class?? Seems like there should be a few more.
There are a few more, but these are the only ones that are considering Ohio State at this time.
Cameron Hunt is now a 4* on rivals, didn't realize that.
Indeed he is, guess he earned it over bowl week or something lol
What's up recent Florida Gators de-commit Quinton Powell? I see he has us in his top 5.
Not sure where you saw that at, but he has no offer from us. You can forget about that.
Per his twitter account.
Interesting. Yeah, we got our LBs. I think we're good haha.
Cameron Hunt could be the 2013 version of Joey O'Connor. Under Armor Interior OL that is from that west coast area and is around the same height and weight and even kind of looks like him a bit. also could be a late add to the OL class. very similar to O'Connor from 2012 who was from Colorado.

Added
WR Corey Smith (Added him back since OSU has renewed interest, bringing him in for an OV this weekend)
Devin Hill walked on this week and enrolled. Can't add him to the list on the phone, will do when I get on a pc. He attended Purdue the last two seasons redshirted in 2011. He was recruited out of HS as a LB but can also play RB. He attended Northland HS and was a teammate of Jared Sullinger.
Added
Chris Worley to the list of commitments
Devin Hill to the list of walkons
Since Timmons has no offer and OSU bypassed him yet again I hope he is getting the guidance to not waste one of his OVs especially since other programs are expressing interest that I am sure would have to interest him. Looks like it could be Smith and Elder which will be fine.
Isn't he on his Official today? I really hope that he gets an offer.
Visit was cancelled
Timmons cancelled. Talked to a coach. I think his patience reached an end. God bless him he was a trooper. Heard coaches still told him they want him.
