My first memory of watching OSU football was in 1985, when an Earl Bruce Buckeye team defeated #2 Iowa 22-13 in Columbus led by the intensity of Chris Speilman. Here are the greatest Buckeyes (IMO) to play their position, since then. In truth, all Buckeyes are great Buckeyes....
QB- Troy Smith
RB- Maurice Clarett, Kieth Byers, Eddie George can't decide always liked Mike Wiley
FB- Jeff Cothran
TE- Rickey Dudley
OL- Orlando Pace
WR- Terry Glenn
Kicker- Mike Nuggent
punter- Tom Tupa
kick returner- Ted Ginn
DT- Dan Wilkinson
DE- Will Smith
LB- Speilman
Safety- William White or Mike Doss cant decide always liked Damon Moore and his visor
CB- Mike Jenkins, Antione Winnfield, Chris Gamble..... it's a toss up

I'd have Pete Johnson as my FB, and how can you argue against the only 2 time Heisman winner as the RB? You could break the O and D lines out further into positions, add Mike, SAM, WILL, STAR etc... Should never leave Mangold off this list.
