I would say before he enrolls in June....maybe even by camp in August...he just can't start classes until he qualifies...Rod Smith needed until August a couple years back if you remember correctly and missed part of camp....I think though, for Dawson it would be by Signing Day in February IF he even gets an offer from the new staff, etc
if you have a dude that weighs 290, speed isnt something to be concerned about. its good feet and balance if he gonna be a RB. If not, then he is no different that Hankins. I think he would be a beast as a DT. Quick first step, explosive upper body.
