I found my Annual from last year and wondered what happened to the one for this year.
I logged into their site and found no info for an Ohio State one for this year.
What did the 11w crew do to destroy this fine publication?

Ha, wish it was something we did, then we'd have an easier time taking it. The truth of the matter is that Ohio State filed a lawsuit against Maple Street Press, claiming they owned intellectual property on everything that even mentioned the word "Ohio".
It's a case OSU would have certainly lost had it gone to court, but MSP does not have the cash to enter into an extended battle with OSU in the courts. It's shitty, but OSU can be shitty when they want to and there's not a lot we or anyone else can do about it sometimes.
That sounds really strange. Have there been similar lawsuits against other smaller press companies? Larger ones?

I was exaggerating a bit when I said they claimed they owned IP on everything that mentioned the word "Ohio", but they did file a lawsuit claiming IP infringement. Again, I don't think it would hold up in court, but MSP does not have the cash to take OSU on in court, so...
Too bad that OSU screwed this up for its fans. That was my favorite pre season magazine by far and I have looked for it on newstands for a while. All hail the mighty $
