Well BED, it looks like you are going to get your wish. I think there is a lot of losing in our immediate future. The longer they wait the worse the recruiting is going to be and the faster TSUN closes the gap. Meyer may bring in criminals, but he is also a known winner and would give recruiting a shot in the arm. There isn't a perfect coach out there waiting to come in everyone has their own baggage. Hiring Urban Meyer would put some postitive buzz around the program.
Yeah, my point had nothing to do with whether Urban is a good fit or not, but just that I don't want the man himself to die.

Erroneous, I was thinking of someone else, Urban Meyer did not coach at Michigan ever...sign him!

I don't think he every said God wants you to come to Florida. I thought it was something along the lines the Urban had a dream that he was coaching. In Meyer's opinion it was a message from God to Urban that he should be coaching football and if he died on the sidelines so be it.
It's not exactly as if Jim Tressel didn't have players get arrested during his tenure. He had players who physcially assaulted other teams players, ya know like strangling Wisconsin QB's. He had a recruit that couldn't quite make it into the school, that ended up getting shot, on 2 different occasions. MoC may not have been a player at Ohio State when he got into trouble, but he only played there 1 year so there's no telling what may have happened. Troy got into trouble for giving strippers fake currency. There were several DUI's by multiple players. Some trouble with recruits and players and the chronic. So it's not like Tressel just coached a bunch of alter boys. Maybe there weren't any players getting arrested on gun charges but it's not like his players were always living by the law.
Continue to sleep after third shift instead of stay up and be miserable.
Most coaches if not all have "systems".
That's why they recruit players to fit that system.
USC(with Petey) had the pro formation, same as Alabama etc. They go out and recruit pro style QB's as oppposed to a slender running threat like a Denard or Tyrod Taylor etc.
You can't honestly say Urban is like Rodriguez, Urban believed in defense and had one of the top defenses in the country each year at Florida.
You have your opinion and I have mine. I never really liked the guy myself but I'm not going to sit here and say that I wouldn't have him as our coach..then I'd be lying to myself.
