Texas A&M's Move & The BIG's Silence

Does anyone else find it strange that there hasn't been a whole lot of talk coming from the other conferences concerning the potential move of Texas A&M to the SEC? Is the silence a sign that everyone else has learned from all the rumors that went swirling around during the last round of conference expansion or is everyone else scrambling like mad in the back rooms. If A&M jumps ship do you think Notre Dame will finally stop digging in it's heels and come on board with the BIG?

I'm wondering if the advent of "The Longhorn Network", is the real story. Up until a couple of years ago, many were questioning how much longer NBC would invest in broadcasting ND's games. To me, this move by TX validates ND's steadfast independence and suggests more universities will do the same.

Maybe the conferences need to be worried. Will their titans go independent?

In my opinion, Ohio State must study what Texas is doing and consider all the possibilities.
