I've been hearing chatter about a possible ammendum to the original NOA stemming from the investigations the NCAA have been conducting in Columbus. Has anyone else heard this?

Where have you heard this? It would be nice to know one way or another. Another NOA would seem to strech out the timeline, unless OSU was already responding to it next week.
I've heard chatter of no new NOA, but that seems hard to believe (though it would be great).
It's just basically rumor going around a few other blogs I frequent. I was kind of hoping Brutus would know something. That dude is always right.

I keep expecting one to arrive on the doorstep of the athletic dept. Everyday that passes makes it less likely I suppose since the investigators left several weeks ago. However, it could come at any time, and I fear that it will.

It would be a little annoying if it came after next week's response. I believe OSU has 90 days to respond (July ---> October), and then another month to set up another hearing (November), then wait around for the results/penalties (February?).
That ruins the idealized "Let's get all this wrapped up by December so we can hire a bad-ass coach, salvage some recruiting and move on with our lives" timeline that I had constructed in my head.
Dumb question: What does NOA stand for?
according to google:
Noa (Achinoam Nini) is Israel's leading international concert and recording artist.
However, in this case, it stands for "Notice of Allegations".
The NCAA has to give one to OSU to kick off the entire process.
