3★ ILB Edward Warinner (.829) received an offer from Michigan State on April 4. Last night, he became the 5th player to commit to the Spartans. The son of former Ohio State co-offensive coordinator Ed Warinner plays for Olentangy Liberty.
Father and son will face each other on October 14 are currently not scheduled to play each other during the younger Warinner's playing days. It will happen if MSU and Minnesota make it to the Big Ten Championship Game.
Mark Dantonio's 2018 class is currently 7th in the Big Ten and 20th in the nation.
