Not sure if any threads have been started on here about the new rules that are likely to be passed in April, when the NCAA Division I Council and Football Oversight committee votes on them. Been spending a lot of time on twitter and saw a few rules that I think are necessary and good changes.
- 10th assistant coach.
- Early signing day beginning on the third Wednesday in December, it will be a 72 hour signing window.
- Satellite camps are being banned, camps will be required to take place on campuses or in the facilities used primarily for practice or competition by member schools.
- Recruits will be allowed to take official visits during the Spring and Summer before their Senior season.
- During a two year period before a recruit’s enrollment and a two year period after the recruit’s enrollment, schools will not be allowed to employ individuals associated with said recruit in a non-coaching staff position.
- A move to regulate the number of non-coaching, football-staff positions.
