Aside from the obvious financial incentives, I really don't see the point. Rarely, if ever, do the top 2 teams in a conference get matched up (having divisions often prevents that from happening). I'll admit I'm little salty this year (as well as last) because I don't believe there is any doubt OSU is the best team in the B1G (they were last year as well), and once again because of one fluke loss we won't play in the CCG and our playoff hopes are in jeopardy.

How do we make CCGs more relevant? I think we'd all prefer to eliminate them and expand the playoff field but realistically there are too many politics and $$$ at stake for that to happen. What do 11Wers think is a better alternative?
