As the B1G heads into conference play, I thought it might be a good time to see what we've learned about the conference through the first three games. Wiscy started things off with the big win against LSU. Michigan hasn't faced a decent opponent yet, but has been winning handily and is ranked in the top 5 in both major polls. Sparty looks like a typical Sparty team, Nebraska's undefeated, and Ohio State has shown that we do indeed reload.
B1G had a bit of a mixed bag yesterday. Three wins over ranked opponents, but the struggles of supposed B1G West contenders Iowa and Wiscy took away some of the shine.
Still, the Big 12 is essentially done. The Pac 12 is dealing with a sinking Oregon program and a USC program that barely kept within 50 of Alabama. The SEC, outside of the aforementioned Alabama destruction of the Trojans, has looked decidedly mediocre through the first few games. Interestingly, I think the stiffest competition to the B1G right now is from the ACC.
So, what do you think? Is the the B1G the best?
