- ND fans were there in numbers. I was surprised they traveled so well.

- ND fans now understand they are not among the national elite anymore. Tradition of Excellence? More like tradition of getting stomped out by Ohio State.

- UT campus is beautiful.

- UT is worked into the fabric of Austin more so than OSU is in Cbus. Less sports teams in Austin, etc, but UT football is a huge deal. I can understand why its such a tough place to coach at.

- UT gameday experience is lit. In some ways moreso than OSU. There were tents/drinking parties around the stadium but they do not have many parking lots surrounding the stadium. They are only about a mile away from 6th street which makes up for it.

- Vince Young has his own steakhouse in town

- You couldn't get in the stadium for less than 300
