Before I say this, I'll immediately acknowledge that LSU did not look like a fantastic football team against Wisconsin, despite having arguably the best back in the country. Notre Dame appeared to be a better, more complete team with good/great QB play.
But this is a great point:

Isn't it amazing how the media fits what they want into a narrative? Is it coincidence that an unranked B1G team over a top 5 SEC West team isn't being celebrated, rather LSU is being berated, while Texas is "back" and Notre Dame isn't being discussed at all?
To an extent, it does drive me nuts. Notre Dame gave up 50 (50!!!) points to a Texas team that was dysfunctional last year, yet #firekelly isn't trending like #fireles.
