Bert revealed today his desire for a Big Ten-SEC football challenge
Arkansas Bret Bielema favors an SEC/Big Ten or SEC/ACC challenge in football, similar to basketball model

Possible Match Ups According to Andrew Holleran.
No. 1: Alabama at Michigan
Both College Football Playoff contenders. Both seen by many as the favorites in their respective conferences. Plus, Saban vs. Harbaugh, in Ann Arbor. It’d be epic.
No. 2: Ohio State at LSU
A rematch of the 2008 BCS National Championship Game. Could the Buckeyes get revenge in what surely would be a night game in Death Valley?
No. 3: Tennessee at Nebraska
Two programs that dominated the 1990s and are hoping to get back to an elite level in the 2010s. The Volunteers would probably be a fairly big favorite, but if the game’s in Lincoln, Neb., it could be good.
No. 4: Michigan State at Auburn
Both of these teams are viewed as potential dark horses to win their respective divisions. It’d be a nice clash of styles, too, with the Tigers’ spread offense against the Spartans’ stout defense.
No. 5: Ole Miss at Wisconsin
Yes, Wisconsin-Arkansas would be fun for the Bret Bielema storyline, but we like matching up the Badgers against the Rebels for competition purposes.
No. 6: Iowa at Georgia
Two teams with outside chances to win their league. We’d like the Bulldogs in this one.
No. 7: Florida at Penn State
The Gators are a team on the rise under Jim McElwain, while the Nittany Lions are trying to reach another level under James Franklin.
No. 8: Maryland at South Carolina
Under Armour vs. Under Armour.
No. 9: Texas A&M at Northwestern
Could be seen by some as an underachievers vs. overachievers matchup.
No. 10: Rutgers at Arkansas
Bret Bielema isn’t a big fan of Ohio State, so he gets to play the team led by a former Urban Meyer assistant in Chris Ash, who was once his assistant at Wisconsin.
No. 11: Mississippi State at Minnesota
Two teams that will probably be better than most are expecting them to be this fall.
No. 12: Indiana at Kentucky
A basketball rivalry meets the gridiron.
No. 13: Missouri at Illinois
See: Indiana at Kentucky.
No. 14: Purdue at Vanderbilt
OK, this one is boring.
