Read this story yesterday. Joe Breschi was the coach of Ohio State's men's lacrosse team from 1998 to 2008. In college he was a 2-time All American lacrosse player for the University of North Carolina. He is now in his 8th year of coaching at UNC.
While coach at OSU in 2004, his 3-year old son was tragically killed when he was run over by a car in his preschool parking lot.
Breschi brought his UNC team into Ohio Stadium yesterday to play #3 Notre Dame. Prior to the game, the UNC team dedicated the game to Coach Breschi's son. UNC went out and upset Notre Dame 13-9 to reach the Final Four.
An emotional, victorious return to Columbus for @uncmenslacrosse head coach Joe Breschi. #ncaaLAXhttps://t.co/z5tgff6fYc
