Tuesday, it was announced that TCU's starting LB Sammy Douglas would be out for the year with an undisclosed injury. Starting DE James McFarland is also close to being out for the year with a foot injury.
Douglas was TCU's most experienced returning linebacker, and McFarland led the Horned Frogs in 2014 with seven sacks.
Linebacker, Mike Freeze, started alongside Douglas against Minnesota, and now Freeze has taken a leave of absence from the football team.

This is all coming after TCU lost the following players:
CB DeShawn Raymond (was slated to be in the two deep)
CB Torrance Mosley (was slated to be in the two deep)
DT Davion Pierson (starting DT, team captain last season)
LB Montrel Wilson (was practicing with the first team before injury)
It will be interesting to see how TCU bounces back from all of these injuries. Unlike Ohio State, I don't think they have the depth to do so. Their games against SMU and Texas Tech will be shootouts.
