I have never been a supporter of seniority. I feel like it is often used by people with more power to keep it and doesn't actually serve any purpose. Going off of that, I firmly believe that B1G programs need to go away from sending all seniors to media days. The best performing and well spoken players should get to go, not those who have simply been there the longest. For example, Joshua Perry has always seemed to me like the most professional and clean cut player on the team. While he gets to go this year, I believe he could have attended last year or even the year before and done a great job representing the team. At the end of the day, media days are all about exposure and brand building, the best and most known players should go.
However, on here I've mostly seen support for this practice. I was wondering what everyone's opinions on this are?
