Okay, so I don't really follow recruiting. I'm not sure how recruiting rankings are done other than that there are stars, quantity can matter, etc.
Now that out of the way, should there perhaps be a post-facto re-evaluation of Alabama recruiting based on the comment I just read elsewhere: OSU might well have QBs that haven't seen the field that could start for Alabama.
I have to wonder if these vaunted class rankings aren't appropriately taking into account positional importance and current depth. How do you have top ranked recruiting classes and have Sims last year and a big question mark this year? And I don't mean any disrespect to Sims, who by all accounts did a decent job in the role, but certainly wasn't a world-beater.
