Only the SEC (and ESPN) would think their channel is worth as much as they do.

A little insight, I work for a company selling DIRECTV systems and service to the healthcare and hospitality industry, and the SEC Network is a $1.55 per unit per month as an add on, and is not available in any packages.

Big Ten Network by comparison is $.25 and actually free included in a main package right now.

I'm not sure what they think they have on that channel that's worth the cost, but only people in SEC country are dumb enough to pay that price.
