Chris Singletary, the Director of Player Personnel for the football department parted ways with Michigan sometime around the spring game.

Let me laugh heartily at the article's notation that Gwen Bush is doing Singletary's job and he will not be replaced.

   Former Wolverine linebacker Chris Singletary is in his sixth season as the recruiting coordinator with the Michigan football program. He handles all of the team's recruiting efforts, both on-campus and out in the community.
   A three-year letterman at Michigan (1996-98), Singletary graduated in May 1999 with a degree in sports management and communications. He was a special teams standout and played in 36 career games.
   Following graduation, Singletary was hired by the International Management Group. He spent one year in IMG's basketball department before accepting a position as Director of Player Resources in the football department with Tom Condon. He worked for IMG for seven-plus years (1999-2006) before returning to his alma mater.
   A Detroit native, Singletary attended DePorres High School where he was selected to the all-state Dream Teams of The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press. He listed No. 7 on The Detroit News Blue-Chip List as a senior.
   Singletary and his wife, the former LaToya Long, reside in Van Buren Township. LaToya graduated from U-M with a degree in electrical engineering.
